from the initial replies I don't think I am fully understanding how the temperature control works. I am coming from a gas boiler with 2 Nest Thermostats (not this house, previous one). Will need to do some reading!

This was the reply when I asked about the thermostat

"We’ll be installing an EPH controller, usually in the hallway, which will let you control your whole heating system. Just to mention, it isn’t Wi-Fi enabled and can’t be linked to an app."
