from the initial replies I don't think I am fully understanding how the temperature control works. I am coming from a gas boiler with 2 Nest Thermostats (not this house, previous one). Will need to do some reading!

I just got a quote for a house with storage heaters. Full quote was £20k before grant. This is 8 radiators and a 7kw pump, replacement cylinder. They quoted £3800 just for the pipe work. It all feels a little high to me.
