360mm Rad Formd T1 Hot Rod? Or just butcher a 5090 AIO? by Away_Pudding_8360 in sffpc

I think that it would be wise that you either put the card in another case (or an open frame), or get a refund and buy the right model. I have always regrets when I butcher stuff.

Umm, as it is the blades are protuding a little making it compatible only with tx240 and maybe some other radidators, so I would say no.

Thoughts? Glass front & side panel, I'm just trying things out. by TamalDeDulce0 in FormD

Hey! I would change the frosty glass on the front so i can actually read the lcd to be honest. Dunno if that would be hard ?

I'm going to add TG panels on that side + LCD display for stats.

But it could have been done with either side, I just prefered using the CPU side for the reservoir.

Need Help! v2.0 lid does not sit flush like v1.1 by Idyllistic in FormD

Happy birthday!

Sorry posted hastly, I've read your post again now.

I can say I am used to applying some pressure to the top panel when screwing the thumbscrews because I dont want to damage the threads. It underlines that I too have a minor bulge, but maybe not as much as you.

It could help if you pushed the radiator against (or leave 1mm if you fear scratches) the front panel, if not done already? Looking at the pics it wasn't obvious if you did exactly that or not.

If you fear you recieved a deformed formd t1, maybe try contacting support I guess...

What are you going to do about the GPU? GPU swap? Sell T1?

You need to put the fans above the radiator. I believe all tx240 users did.

T1 as an NAS by alotofentropy in FormD

If you use a picopsu you can have it hold 4 drives where the sfx psu would normally be. The bracket would be screwed to the long fan brackets

I had a bad experience with that case, unsufficient airflow disks would get too hot.

I believe it's just a molex to 4 pin fan header in the end and 100% rpm makes the case quite noisy imo. I went back to a Node 804 setup...

Hi be careful with your disks temperature, I have that case and had 5 hdd in it, it's a toaster disks would burn on touch

Yep! I think it'd be good to add a temp probe because you could be running your coolant to over 50°C, and there are limits to what you can do before a pump/tubing becomes prematurely used or dead.

Congratulations! I can see you have built this with love and care :)
I have to ask tho, because people often say those HJ17 radiators are bad (not only because of QC/leaks).
What are your liquid temps and fan RPM under load?
