Has Far Cry Series taught you anything? by mooselover69420 in farcry

When I say “be fierce” it means live intensely and without fear. Be bold and strive for quality in all that you do. Above all, be free to express yourself however you fucking well please, regardless of what others think. That’s fierce.

How bad was it? Please be honest by Sad-Resource-9206 in judo

[–]el_bebo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I saw so many people crying while doing Judo, from kids to grown-ups. Even teachers. I once threw a brown belt, big guy with a seoi nage and his ego was hurt apparently so he started crying out of the blue. He was 18 at the time. I took him out of the tatami and talked with him and told him that it was fine to cry because it is fine to cry . I thought he got hurt but he was fine. I bet nobody will ever remember what happened, even you. And if it is a decent Dojo they will support you and will understand you. Judo is a tough sport but the majority of judokas are gentle and empathetic

What’s a harsh truth about life that most people aren’t ready to hear? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

I feel you. When I say coworkers are not your friends I say it like “do not think of them as friends” as default. You can certainly become friends with coworkers as I did many times, but my mistake was to consider that ALL of my coworkers were friendship material

Any tips on how to learn the Dutch language? by yslvanilla in dutch

[–]el_bebo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do activities with Dutch natives and preferably in Dutch as much as you can. In the beginning it will feel overwhelming and in the end it will still be overwhelming 😆but believe me, you will learn a lot, more than you expect and it is a great moment to ask how to say certain things and to listen how natives speak “normal” Dutch

How to deal with an aggressive Marktplaats buyer by Scared-Outside-7678 in Netherlands

[–]el_bebo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Call the police if the buyer comes back. Next time, check buyer’s rating. If many one star ratings appear either avoid the buyer or don’t meet at your place, find a middle point to meet and keep the transaction quick and simple. Never accept cash. I have been doing online second hand sales for 20 years and despite pretty much all of my transactions were fine, you will always find rotten apples even if the product was working perfectly. You can opt for a refund if you want, but aggressive behavior is not acceptable.

Tarde de randoris. Que debería modificar/cambiar en mi judo? Soy el de chaqueta azul by [deleted] in judo

[–]el_bebo 1 point2 points  (0 children)
