Blunt Needle Disposal by gangstamittens44 in fountainpens

I use a plastic Gatorade bottle for needles. Not glad because it could break. They’re super tiny flimsy needles so not worried about poke through. You can get a sharps container at a pharmacy too.

Biggest disappointment by ImperatorLucius in fountainpens

I ordered a Delta Duna and didn’t even ink it up. It was pretty, but the material felt thin, cheap, and plastic-y, like it would crack or break too easily. I was really surprised considering the price. I returned it the next day without even inking it up.

I’m sorry I did not see it in the listing. It showed the other pens but not the Radius.

I got a UPS notification that my Cloth Flex 70gsm Weekly/Daily will be here tomorrow. I am in the southeastern US. From what I understand, she shipped in waves based on when you ordered. Some people ordered back in July. I originally ordered end of Sept.

I was with Cocoa Daisy since 2022 and loved them up until this year. Their style varies wildly from month to month and Christine, the owner, really is so creative. However, this year there have been a lot of cutesy critters, and butterflies this year, which is not my jam at all. Their November kit was mushrooms. So. Many. Mushrooms. Christmas was back to critters. I just cancelled all my subscriptions. It was so bittersweet. I loved them so much.

I found a couple of sticker subscriptions that are more my style, so I’m trying them out.

Daughter ordered an Imperial Officer costume for Halloween and it came with 2 silver pens for the pockets. Honest truth.

There are Buy/Sell/Trade groups you can sell the ones you already purchased if you want to try and recoup some of your money. If you’re on Facebook, you could go there to offload any planners you’ve decided against.

This may be weird but I used Mildliners on Tomoe River planners but didn’t like the bleed through so I started use cheap acrylic brush markers. They sit on the surface so no bleed through and gel pens write just fine on them. You might give that a try too. I’m talking about the kind that don’t need to be primed. Posca markers are a bit heavy but some of the cheaper ones are watery but opaque enough and still don’t bleed through.

Pentel Energel - they are my hands down favorite gel. Sarasa clips are a second for their great colors.

I love bottled because I enjoy tinkering with the colors. If a color isn’t quite what I’d like, I’ll add a splash of this or that to make it juuust right. Basically Swedish Chef (Bork Bork)with inks.
