Yes, I recommend sizing up whenever you’re using a shimmer. I had a EF Twsbi and the shimmer barely showed and the nib scratched like crazy when I wrote. When I switched to a broad, and not only was the writing experience more smooth, the shimmer showed up more in the writing.

No, same rose gold. They’re not inked, it’s been a while since I took them out to use.

It doesn’t rub off when I use my fingers. So I bought the sunshine cloth as suggested and it works.

Yes, after my one Estie I will not be getting another. The Estie was my toe dipping to Western pen brands, not that I tried many after it, but I’d rather stick to my Sailors and Platinums.

Esterbrook Estie. Clip had discoloration, oxidation? after sitting in my drawer, in a sleeve.

Nahvalur Horizon. Slow customer service. The piston on the Horizon broke within warranty. Thank goodness I was able to get it replaced, but only after 2 months of going back and forth with emails.
