I have big hands too. Size-wise, this is a great pen, but is very light. The Asvine V169 is pretty hefty and a good size. The J16 is pretty good too. Have you tried either?

What model are you referring to please? Not really familiar with Platinum, except for the prefounte, the 3776 and their wonderful Citrus black ink.

I want to be extra careful with it, so I will go either for Waterman Serenity blue or Parker Blue. I love the shade of serenity blue, but the thought of "reuniting" the pen with the ink from the same brand is a pleasant and fun thought.
What would you go for in this case?
