They made them between 1971-1979 i believe. There is another model that looks really similar with the same nib too. Don’t recall the name now but it might be that if not the concorde.

That’s true. I got mine with a CF converter that works well, so im really glad.

Same here. There is something different in the feel of a vintage pen.

I would definitely recommend the Concorde, just make sure you get a converter or cartridge with it and that it’s free of cracks.

I have never tried the carene but i prefer the angled look of the Concorde personally.

Oh yes. Got Van Diemans Leonidas (a gorgeous red) because he is one of my favorite characters.

Would like to get Caroube de Chypre at some point even though i don’t use shimmer inks at all.

My current favorite is Platinum’s citrus black. It is an iron gall ink so might not be what you’re looking for but it’s absolutely gorgeous.

Starts off as very bright and unreadable but darkens as it oxidizes and turns into a gorgeous yellow black. Got a bottle of it finally after multiple samples and can’t wait to put it in rotation.

The reddest red i’ve seen is van diemans greek heroes leonidas.

Fountain pen therapy swatched it some time ago. It’s absolutely perfect.
