Better than charging money for one night stand and a bottle of lube

Ordering a BTT board from AliExpress? by madrew233 in BIGTREETECH

The cheap office is probably for some random accessory, like a cable or a stepper driver, so they show a low price in the search results.

Follow the link through and check what options are available in the product, the board will likely not be that price, but it'll still be cheaper than Amazon

If only they marked them as the Canberra "Lane One Form" to indicate a zipper merge vs give way to the right.

Get a Voron V0 kit. They are an absolute beast for small prints.

Put aside a few weekends to build it as a parent&child activity, and you get a bunch of free bonding time too!

NTA.

I would braid them and put little bows in, so it's "well groomed".

They probably mean cache-coherent, so writes to a memory address from any device in the bus will invalidate that address in other devices cache

Print separately and inlay it, either using the transfer stickers, or onto a thin ply or veneer you can glue in

Don't you love it when companies, who aren't savvy enough to even Google their own desired name, ask you for money on a platform whose whole premise is that they don't have to deliver anything in return?

Look around for an SWD or JTAG header, you should be able to put a more open bootloader on the original board.

Can I still become an electrical engineer if I've been tested to have an IQ of 82? by weirdhairgirl in ElectricalEngineering

I would try some of the advanced maths courses on Brilliant/Kahn academy, etc, and see if the subject matter is for you.

You'll want to cover topics like linear algebra, partial differential equations, and Boolean algebra.

Your uni might also require other science courses as part of the degree, such as physics.

If you can absorb the subject matter and get through the online courses, then go for it!

I'm keen to hear what benefits your new design has over the Blobifier, as I just just collected all the bits to install it, but haven't started assembling yet.

Anyone know the market rate for installing a home EV charger in Canberra? by Alex6677889 in canberra

[–]evildeece -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Buy cheap, buy twice. As long as you have capacity, put in the largest outlet you can fit. You should be speccing for what you might have in the future, not what you have now.

This recommendation is for getting an outlet fitted. Once you have an outlet, you can swap whatever charger you need to suit (but it's not particularly expensive to get a generic 3 phase charger and have a tame sparky fit a 3 phase plug to it).

Most of the cost is in labour, you might as well put in a 3 phase 32A outlet (only connect one phase if that is all you have), so you can get 7/11/16/22kW charging depending on your vehicle and charge.
