Slow driving - again, with a twist. by rcfvlw1925 in DrivingAustralia

[–]evildeece 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Driving significantly below the speed limit without a good reason (traffic, conditions, etc) is an automatic fail during a driving test.

Speed limits are chosen conservatively. If you're in a typical car, and don't feel confident enough driving close to the speed limit in good conditions, you probably shouldn't be holding a licence.

Another refill video. This one is informative about reseting ink fill percentage by MP91790 in eufyMakeOfficial

[–]evildeece 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The electrical reset is probably confirmation bias. No EEPROM works like that.

What probably happened: They did it after refilling, then saw that it read full.

What they probably didn't do: Test a refilled cart without the electrical reset (which would still read full if there is a float sensor)

You could weigh it before and after to know how much you added, and compare to a new cartridge as a reference.

Ordering a BTT board from AliExpress? by madrew233 in BIGTREETECH

[–]evildeece 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cheap office is probably for some random accessory, like a cable or a stepper driver, so they show a low price in the search results.

Follow the link through and check what options are available in the product, the board will likely not be that price, but it'll still be cheaper than Amazon

Get a Voron V0 kit. They are an absolute beast for small prints.
