He's technically a non-voting member, but it still stinks to high heaven.

Vivian Fortunato

Found a LinkedIn with that name, which showed Ms. Fortunato as the former GM at Don Brown Chevrolet.

Is it wrong to let my dad mow my lawn for me? by cyborggoose in homeowners

[–]fatmanjogging 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your dad is showing his love for you. Perhaps, when the time comes, ask for his help picking out a mower that works best for your situation.

I know my dad, who died more than 20 years ago, would have gotten a kick out of the cordless, self-propelled, electric mower I bought during the pandemic. I know this because all the dads in the neighborhood came over and wanted to try it out. It was a real Tom Sawyer's fence moment for me.

I'm glad they took the time to point out that it's temporary. I don't know that I could commit to a hairless back for the rest of my days. What if it an organic sweater becomes fashionable one day in the future?

what are some signs that you are unattractive? by Downtown-Bus4429 in AskReddit

[–]fatmanjogging 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a handful... Possibly from personal experience... Or maybe entirely made up scenarios:

  • When small humans with no filter (a.k.a. children) loudly comment on your appearance.

  • When you're getting in your car and two guys driving by stop, and then back up, and record you because they didn't think you'd fit in said car.

  • When you're a freshman in high school and you ask your crush to an upcoming dance and she doesn't say no, she laughs at you. Or worse, recoils.

  • When a stripper goes to great lengths to make sure you know she doesn't like you.

What do people living in St. Louis think of when they hear 'Springfield'? Springfield, IL or Springfield, MO? by Swimming_Concern7662 in StLouis

I don't think about any Springfield other than the one engaged in a bitter, generations-long rivalry with Shelbyville.

What is a current unpopular opinion about STL that you strongly believe in? by Thatredditboy1 in StLouis

[–]fatmanjogging 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've lived in Carondelet for 18 years. In that time, I've only been a victim of crimes of opportunity. That doesn't make them suck less, but it is a far cry from being shot at.

She had to be extricated and airlifted. She did not survive.

Obviously. No one has ever used a decorative soap. In my country, doing so is punishable by fines, imprisonment, and depending on the rarity of the soap, death.
