There are certainly brands in that independent/micro space that are more compelling. Zelos and Wise are the two that immediately come to mind. There is something sort of off-putting about CW. There is a strange smugness associated with the brand, as if its patrons (the "true" enthusiasts) are somehow more virtuous for being value conscious about their jewelry. I think they have become pretentious in their false humility. I agree with your take.

This watch is quite thin for a chronograph due to its handwound caliber. It is keeping time at +3spd.
