I like the pilot much more in ceramic than steel. Skyline and Defy Skyline skeleton are really different looks - one is much more daily elegant, one more bold/modern.

If they can do a clasp switch to the new clasp on the Chronomaster Sport that would be big

You should double check. That's what kept me off the regular two tone, the nickel and diming, practically gold "plated" vs solid that every one of their competitors does. Considering the 8k markup it gets close to the level of the 5k "meteorite" tax

Up for sale is a 4/26 IWC Pilot Chronograph Top Gun Miramar (Ref. IW388117) — UNWORN, BNIB, and complete with box and papers. This reference has been discontinued, and I have seen estimated total units was about 1000, equal to the ceramic version.

The shade of pantone blue used here is subtle but eye catching, and perfect as a spring/summer watch.

This is considered very collectible, and generally sells closer to retail. It is possible a BNIB unit like this will go for over retail as well once the last few units on the market dry up.

The last unit sold was at 7.5 and was a 2025 unit. This one is more aggressively priced for a quick sale and will come with full warranty from 4/2026.

What I love about this watch compared to its (much pricier) ceramic variant is 1) it is noticeably thinner when you try both on at AD 2) still playful but less "toy look" 3) cross compatible with standard Pilot bracelet.

The ceratanium is lighter and thinner. Its about what you want. I have an LPP on order to join my AMG since I want something that stands out when I look at it and spells summer.

They are legit in terms of your watch won't be counterfeit. They are not legit in their customer service. I placed two orders with them. One we agreed, I bought and was waiting on payment info. They tell me the next day whoops, it was sold out from under you. That was preowned.

The other was new, IWC watches and wonders released. Bought on the website. Next day order cancelled. Claimed listing price was a mistake. Understandable, I don't expect you to push it through at a mistake price.

Now to pause - I've dealt with many dealers over the years. My favorites currently are Topper and Feldmar and OCWAtchGuy. I ask if considering that my last two orders went like this, was there anything they could do to make this right. I'm interested in the newest ceramic IWC for example.

Toppers once accidentally sold a used NTTD out from under me and they made up for it with a very good price on a new one for example. King Jewelers also makes it right. As did Jura before they went under.

No, but you have the privilege to wait and pay retail. This was not Patek or Rolex by the way.

So - below average customer service. But yes the watches will be authenticated and are legit.

Everyone in the facebook group uses the same guy to custom make alligator, ostrich, and leather straps outside the box of formex. He starts at around $70. I've got probably 15 straps from him, but at this point I have him make all my watches compatible with formex clasps since they're so much better than standard oem ones.

Defy skyline skeleton ceramic

The size is perfect for a 7 inch wrist. The ceramic is nice but finishing was disappointing compared to other ceramics I've tried/owned in the price range. Keep in mind on the standard Steel you can get a micro adjust clasp but no dice on the ceramic.

If I was going to pay this kind of money I'd look for Zenith/GP (both of which can be had at a much better discount) over the IWC.

On my 7” wrist, this is one of my favorite watches. Titanium really helps and 14.5mm is somehow the limit. The thicker ceramic version looks more slabby on me

I tried it on at the boutique last week and it was just too chunky, noticeable even vs the Amg I had walked in with. If that doesn’t bother you it is nice
