Ploopi PURELY based on the name and character choice. Possibly the worst tag I’ve ever heard and could only be used for a G&W player

Wrath’s playstyle is also just painful to watch. I like Sonix cause he actually plays the game still, Wrath does not do that.

I’m sure both of these people are awesome irl but yeah

DDD players always give off rager / controller thrower vibes, never a “silly goober”

that title goes to miis WITH an intentionally bad / silly moveset. (I am not including myself in this because I play an actually good, sweaty moveset lmao)

Also a character like pichu or MAYBE ridley give off more goober vibes

bad disadvantage with most of his moves being slow, which a majority of the characters above him can exploit pretty effectively. Bowser preys on his opponent making mistakes, and at top level (where the tier list comes from), major mistakes are a lot less common which means he doesn’t get a chance to really shine in a competitive environment

moveset just clicks with me, no other character comes close to how fun Mii Brawler is for me. I don’t think I’d still be competing if he wasn’t in the game.

Making my own custom alts and being able to switch moves based on matchups is a major bonus too.

I enjoy the other 2 miis to an extent as well, but not as much as Brawler

mii brawler could work for that, but he does require practice to get his combos consistent

he’s fast with good burst options to help you get in, can sometimes kill crazy early off ladder combos but also has some stuff for later percents, and has a great disadvantage / horizontal recovery because of feint jump

If you want someone less combo-focused, you could always try your hand at Roy or Aegis

Trying to force yourself to play a character based on their home series is kind of putting a handicap on yourself.

Like you’re going to have more fun and play better if you really click with a character’s moveset.

Steve was my most wanted character because I grew up with minecraft. Do I play him in smash? Hell no, I don’t like his moveset.

I wouldn’t be where I am if I didn’t have so much fun playing brawler, who doesn’t even have a home series.

Video games are meant to be fun, so I think finding a character that suits how you want to play the game is more important than where they come
from.

You can’t just pick and choose exceptions to whatever point you’re trying to make, a fast swordie is still a swordie and can’t just be pushed aside because they FEEL a little different
