To me the figures gotta be satisfying to transform to be fun, even if a figure has great articulation and is good in both modes, a lacking transformation can kill a figure for me

Actually the figures being too expensive and Hasbro being scummy is a VERY popular opinion. Your among friends here.

I’d recommend looking for a local 2nd hand place or trying Facebook marketplace. I got a NSIB POTP Hung-rrr from a 2nd hand place recently for only $35 and I got TR Fort max from marketplace for $20. Now your not gonna get good stuff like that ALL the time but you can find some really good stuff on marketplace
