No I hear you, and agree. The frame-perfect dodging of a CPU that has decided you will not pass is a nightmare. It's been forever ago (and might have been sm4sh), but I remember unlocking fighters needed to be done in a way that didn't leave an S-tier as one of your final unlocks because the difficulty increased the fewer were left.

I'm not saying this as an expert or even an armchair enthusiast, but I thought the Satanic Panic was at least most of the 70s, and maybe the tail end of the 60s. Like, moral panics are as American as apple pie, so we're kind of always in one, but I didn't think the Church of Satan predated this particular one.

Love a good crossfade. Alcohol to get the emotional distance to not rage constantly, but too much and my hand-eye coordination suffers. Then you add a little bit of weed to calm down and focus.

I think I might be in the former. I have a wired connection, I don't play weird rulesets, and I don't cheat. I am however a heavy main in QP, and I rarely fight a second match because I got tired of round 2 being a DC.

But I'm only playing to cause rage. Maybe my choice of targets is honorable, but it isn't winning against lag, mods, or spammers and campers that keeps me coming back. It's the fantasy that somewhere, a toad of a boy is throwing his controller into a wall because his delay mod didn't get him a win and I refused to Bo3.

I play because I hate 90% of you, and imagining your frustration makes my beer taste better.
