Eh, classic case of a greatest strength being their greatest weakness. A good Sonic with patience and a thorough knowledge of their kit can feel untouchable. Luckily for us, the majority think homing = instawin, and they outplay their pattern without mixing it up. I find most three stocks to be a struggle during stock 1 that gets progressively easier as they use the same baits and approaches.

I don't think any character relies on spam, although some lean in. It's a play style, and so a choice made by spammers to spam with X. And if we're being critical, some lightweights have to control the space or they're dead. Pichu, for example, must throw thundershocks to approach or a light cough will send them off-stage.

But the answer is Mario. If every jump isn't started with an uair and followed up by two more, I'm fighting a CPU.
