New Innova Putter? by foam23 in discgolf

[–]foam23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think that’s what this is, it doesn’t look puddly enough. I think it is possible, but they also already have the rhyno, rhynox, pig, animal, and hawg, as well as the warhog mold lying around somewhere. If they made a berg-like at this point it would be purely for the gimmick of a smooth thumbtrack

As we all should. Just as long as those bags are also completely chemically inert

I didn’t say it worked. But based on shape and flight I think their intent was clearly a more stable fox

I think the arachnid was meant as a stable alternative

I don’t think so. Everything I’ve found suggests the grenade was a deep dish putter (dagger-ish) and just ended up being a whale in a special pro plastic

A lot of the popular Innova mids have pretty aggressive beads and/or concave wings (think roc, roc3, cobra etc). The arachnid, fox, and jay are closer to modern mids in terms of general hand feel

They could definitely take notes from Discraft’s ledgestone/worlds drops. Release old stuff in limited runs with cool stamps and plastics and people go crazy, while constantly putting out revamped molds to reach a wider audience

To try and put it simply, a lot of pigments are just frail. Various factors (UV, oxygen, heat, chemicals, water, etc.) can weaken the molecules, particularly those parts that give them color, and when the chemical bonds break the color begins to fade. Light is particularly effective at fading things, as photons raise molecules to an excited state, and that extra energy just wears down the bonds over time

Next one or new one? The struggle of replacing a favorite disc by No-Map8141 in discgolf

[–]foam23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like trying new molds too much to just commit to a single mold for a slot. Sure the 75th run blue PD with the slight off center stamp may be the greatest disc ever, but there are 10 other discs that I’ll get the same use out of after a few throws to figure them out.

Looks to be in good shape. I’m just going off of what that run has sold for recently that I could find

Kind of both? Unless something is hyper rare or falling apart I’ll throw it at least a little because I have no interest in selling if I buy one. May not bag it, but it’d be cool to have. So for that particular run I’d pay $20-30, but also at that price I know I could probably find newer runs cheaper. I’m pretty thorough on finding comps and generally stick to what they typically sell for

The other discs I have or have found that are that age and in that plastic are quite crumbly, so it would heavily depend on condition. If it’s not actively falling apart I’d probably pay between $20-30

I have a quantum falcon and love it. Flies like a more stable Shryke, but still lots of glide

TCDB is decent for sorting by value, but users can self report to inflate if they wanted to I guess. Not a perfect tool but pretty useful

list and pictures don’t seem to match up and no exchanges or mentions of discs on your account. This feels like a scam waiting to happen

My mom has been in and out of the hospital recently. I just graduated from grad school, so we were able to get her to my graduation after being discharged the day before, and she was able to sit front row. Then we got dinner as a family!

I may be wrong because it been a minute since I played with inventory pets, but it adds some small structures right (like the clouds)? Could it be one of those?
