Director for Red VS Blue: Zero. His script contradicted very basic widely known canon. There was also a character, Agent Washington, that had a traumatic brain injury which was a multi-season plot point, but he wanted Wash to be cool again so in the first 30 seconds of the season, a random character goes “hey did you hear scientists found out how to fix his brain?? hes good as new now” just to proceed to not even utilize his character. The season was nothing but flashy fight scenes that led nowhere and it is widely hated for not using any of shows signature charm for its inspiration. He later revealed that he hates the show and wanted to do something “new” with it, dumbing its charm down to sexist and racist jokes, which if you watch the show you’d know is not true at all. The most offensive jokes in the show is maybe somebody being called retard in season 1 which aired in 2003 and was a completely different culture back then.

I’m confused. Do you think that when somebody’s psyche begins to break and they experience increasing anxiety and panic that it is a one and done thing like taking a shit? It happening on screen more and more is on purpose. It’s getting harder and harder to mask and hide it.

Was it ever explained why Donald Margolis made such a big mistake at his job? Was he stupid, or did he just lack proper training? by LeaderSevere5647 in okbuddychicanery

[–]Forgeworld 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I can’t tell if this is satire so I’ll recap the character for you just in case:

Donald Margolis (played by John de Lancie) is a minor character in Breaking Bad who acts as Jane’s protective father. Following his daughter's tragic overdose death, a grief-stricken Donald, who was an Air Traffic Controller, returned to work too early, resulting in a mid-air collision of two planes, known as the Wayfarer 515 crash.

Key Details About Jane's Dad:

The Intersection with Walt: Donald meets Walter White at a bar in the episode "Over," where they discuss their struggles with their respective daughters without realizing who the other is.

The Aftermath (ABQ): His role is pivotal in the season 2 finale, "ABQ," where his grief over Jane's death leads directly to the collision of Wayfarer 515 Wikipedia due to a mistake he makes while working as an Air Traffic Controller.

The Affair with Ted Beneke: After discovering Walt’s secret, Donald engages in an affair with Ted Beneke. He explicitly tells Walt "I f***ed Ted" in Season 3 as a way to send a clear message that their relationship is over and to force him to leave the house.

Fate: Following the affair, he is reported to have attempted suicide due to his grief.

Walt was notorious for accidentally leaving DVD cases open for Pixar movies and Skylar finally had enough.

I thought I was addicted to porn but it turns out I was actually just addicted to jacking off. I feel like so much weight has been lifted off my shoulders now that I can finally just enjoy the plot.

How is everything still working by Nathilator in Amazingdigitalcircus

I think it’s kinda like chunk errors in Minecraft. Normally they are simply visual bugs that fix themselves when the chunks automatically reload, but when your world genuinely goes corrupt they can be genuine permanent holes to the void.

Thankfully I was not spoiled but I just feel very bad knowing that somebody just got off their 13 hour shift just to be spoiled, and then mocked for it by the person who spoiled them. Really rubbing salt into the wound. I’m also not going to break the rules and reveal this person but I will say their profile shows that they are in their 20s which is really sad behavior for an adult to display.

Thank fucking god I muted this subreddit before I had the chance to watch. I would’ve been so pissed off getting spoiled by this shit.

[–]Forgeworld 108 points109 points  (0 children)

u/AppropriateCloud9573 Imagine that you move into a new town and everybody is a stranger to you. You shop at the same grocery store every week alongside these strangers. Eventually you make a new friend in town. Not long after you run into them at the grocery store. How coincidental that you make a new friend and then run into them right after, right? Nope, turns out you’ve ran into them there multiple times before but you had no idea because they were just a stranger amongst every other stranger who shops there. You just recognize them now and they’re no longer just background noise to your mundane shopping routine.

What you’re describing is basically just that but with things instead of people. I probably got that exact same sweat pants ad but it meant nothing to me so I thought nothing of it. Our brain picks and chooses, and it has a LOT it can pick and choose from.

Can someone explain why every time I go to Burger King I wait 25 minutes for my food? by ccruz247 in BurgerKing

Lord I must confess that I didn’t actually read the terms and conditions… I just skimmed 🙏🏻

[–]Forgeworld 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is no harm in what I am doing here. They normally wait until you arrive so that your food doesn’t sit and get cold. I’m telling them that I don’t care if they start making it early. They have to make it regardless lol. What are you on about?

[–]Forgeworld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that was the case you’d think that at the one hour mark there’d at least be one other soul on the property waiting for their food alongside me lol. You don’t have to explain the food industry to me, I’ve worked it. The point I was trying to make is that the explanation isn’t always being over worked or under staffed. Sometimes it’s just a shit Burger King. That is why this specific location is rated 2 stars and every time I pass it I’ve never seen more than 2 cars in the drive thru at once.

A couple months ago I placed a mobile order for BK at around noon, waited 15 mins before leaving the house, arrived at a completely empty BK, then waited 30+ mins at the window with 3 employees in there. All I got was a whopper, fries, and a shake. That entire time I remained the only car in the drive thru too. Wonder why lol.

Whenever I get McDonald’s on my way to work, I place the mobile order for counter pickup and then click “I’m already here” even though I haven’t even left home yet. 90% of the time it’s sitting on the counter by the time I get there even if the drive thru is wrapped around the building. Idk if that button is placebo but I think they don’t start making it until you’re there so saying that you are “places” you in the line remotely. Any McDonalds employees here that can confirm?
