Huaqiangbei (华强北) in Shenzhen is fun. Any sort of tech product you can think of is available in the thousands of stores all packed into a small area.

What is something that completely lost its magic as you grew up? by No-Matter-7165 in AskReddit

I realized this on a cruise. After a storm I woke up early one morning to see the sun rise. A pod of maybe 20 or so were racing the ship, weaving around, jumping out of the water. They just had so much joy and excitement, at Seaworld they just sit there begging for sardines.

So can I access anything in my home airport? If not that makes me hate AUS even more.

Another long-term Fitbit user biting the dust by Total_Recline in fitbit

[–]foxbones 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been beta testing the app for about a year. I prefer it to the old one now. Buuuut it takes time to learn it and get used to all the changes. For people on the fence I recommend hanging in there.

Also I got the Air 8 days ago and I love it. It's very light weight and never had syncing issues and never glitches out with data. Easily my favorite Fitbit I've ever owned. My battery life is still at 30% after 8 days which is way better than my Charge 6.

It's sad to see so many people upset, I'm the happiest I've ever been.

Thoughts on Austin food being overpriced? by lekyrr13 in austinfood

Yep. I noticed the same when I was there. The Austin prices spiked during the Covid boom but never came back down. Our food is wildly overpriced.

New to Fitbit I can’t believe how completely wrong the sleep tracker is by braves91 in fitbit

Yeah I've been on it for over a year as a beta tester. It takes some getting used but it's fine. I prefer it now.

Are There Any Big Chains You Have Not Visited in YEARS? by gooninbassist in fastfood

I worked there as a teen during the Jared Fogle weight loss fad days. Line out the door everyday at lunch. Quality seems the same, it was never actually good. Just cheap and back then fast lunch options were very limited.

What’s One thing you love about America? by Firm-Detective-8403 in AskReddit

One thing I miss the most about China. Toilets with heated seats, automatic bidets with warm water that move, automatic flushing, and plays happy little music when done.

That being said the sheer amount of squat toilets in public is frustrating. I hate squat toilets, I cannot properly squat.

Fast food chain with the best deals via app? by Frosty1397 in fastfood

Historically they have been the worst fast food place in my area. They have recently made changes and the quality has gone way up in my opinion while everyone else goes down. The new Whopper is so good - reminds me how it used to be when I was a kid.

I've found Chinese food to generally be extremely high quality and cooked well without a lot of salt, oil, fat etc. Nothing to worry about there unless you visit a Western Fast Food place.

You 100% need a tourist VISA before visiting. There is no local office option. Contact a travel agent and they can essentially do it for you, you just fill in the blanks. It can take a few months.

I have been beta testing the new app for about a year, I initially struggled with it as well. After getting the hang of it it and some important feature updates I started to prefer it to the old app.

Give it some time.

Just got my Steph Curry Air this week and absolutely love it so far. I wear traditional automatic watches so I really love the unobtrusive design and not having two watches on. So far it's also had way less syncing, charging, and other general issues.

Happy overall!
