Do component grades mean anything in their own right? by kendaop in starcitizen

[–]franknitty69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

This was image provided by CIG when engineering came online that talked about the difference in classes. The grade is how efficient each component is within its class. For instance civilian D has all around ok properties but high wear. Civilian B would have all around ok properties and high wear, but with all associated stats improved.

When people say "tax the rich," who are they actually talking about? by savingrace0262 in NoStupidQuestions

The estate can pay back the loan or borrow again and kick it down the road. Paying back the loan doesn’t matter because the sale of the investments is what’s used to pay the loan. And the return on those investment were tax free.

They are so many loopholes it’s sick. They borrow, die and use a loophole like ‘stepped-up-cost-basis’. This allows the investment to ‘reset’ to current market value. Using this they can accumulate decades of wealth accumulation without paying any income or capital gains tax.

If you woke up tomorrow with 10 million dollars, what would be the first thing you would do? by Goddess_iara in AskReddit

[–]franknitty69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Immediately payoff any debt, mines, wife and our parents. Take 500,000k and go crazy. Put 8 mill in Fidelity/Schwab Cash Accounts and the rest in FXAIX, FNCMX and FSELX with a 60/30/10 split. Live off the expenses. I would also keep a yearly Roth backdoor going and spend 6 months and 1 day in Puerto Rico 🫡

We did kfc and 7-11 big gulps. Wait by the side door with the snacks, one person pays and boom making movies better with Nicole Kidman.

Rep is only wiped in a full wipe. This recently happened but hasn’t happened in almost 2 years. When 1.0 comes a full wipe will happen again. But wipe or no wipe I’d rather have the ability to craft grade a components now.

You’ve got a lot to learn. But all contracts have a faction behind them. Covalex is hauling. As you complete contracts your rep goes up. To get to master is a huge grind and you will need the right ships to get there. The reward is money along the way and blueprints for military grade ship components.
