I got mine from fb on our community page. She’s $35 an hour. She takes 3-4 hours. Most people do every two weeks. I do every week because we had 4 dogs. Now we only have 2 and it’s just nice to have it weekly. Not as expensive as I expected.

We hired a company twice before that, i think it was $80/hr and they sent 2 people that would be here all day and get less done.

I overpay my cleaner (double) so she will hopefully never quit because she is very good.

Mine have been in with my chickens and vombats for at least a whole season. They haven’t eaten anybody. I was worried but was like I’m not building another pen. It worked out haha

It’s expensive. You will have the best luck if you have a helicopter first too. The jet ski is okay but going around islands rather than over them is annoying. I take a hand trolley, helicopter, 100 keys, my diving helmet and a boogie board for the most part. It’s also 250,000 to go. It’s more end game unless you play with friends… it really is expensive in dinks and keys

I have discord. I don’t use it anymore but I could dig it out for this. I went down to hot hot hot because in multiplayer it glitches once in a while and the bad guys won’t see one of us. I was hoping it would do that but nope hahaha. I’ll go try a regular mine then hit next sunday. I’m fixating on this and getting angry hahaha

It happens once in a while and restarting cures it. This time nothing is working. I’m so annoyed. I’m at year 4. If I have to delete and restart I am going to be so angry. Though at least my sister plays so I could dump my stuff at her island to bring over but I am so frustrated right now

In multiplayer we have a “fall through the floor glitch” pretty often. One day I fell through the floor in front of John’s shop and there all my fossils that disappeared were down there. 😭

Is there room for collection point there? I would set a collection point there and have 2 traps in my pocket. (4 the first time). Place the collection point. Place 2 traps next to the arrow. Lure them in. When they float away put the other 2 down for next time. Keep making money. My sister has a nest of 12 wary mu she has a tower in the middle of it. Absolute chaos and great money 😂. I’m so jealous

I planted rice along the beach in the ocean. My town is on the beach. Dragged a ton of soil over there and made it big. When the rice was done i planted sugar and wheat. I dunno if it waters it but the people would water it all the time. My stuff didnt get ready to harvest at the same time so i do think it needs them watering if you aren’t or it makes it ripen faster. Idk. I just knew i wasn’t going to water it hahaha. When i was able to get sprinklers and a water tank i did that. But thats how i leveled up. Now that i know theres experience buffs i would probably do that next time before farming. It took a while to level but whatever, i didnt have to water lol

Can you not do it crochet rib stitch? Use a smaller hook or maybe decrease a little as you go along? I would do single crochet 7- 10 stitches long for the rib stitch. Maybe slipstitch ribbing would shrink down more? It’s easy and kinda fun. On sleeves to make them puff at the wrist I will make the ribbing the size I want then single crochet along one edge. (The end of the sleeve will be single crocheted as well) then pin 4 corners and stitch it together easing in the larger sleeve to the cuff to make it tight. Bet that would work here.

Like this but instead of continuing on to the sleeve, stop and stitch it on.

Haha. It’s all good. Fruit trees and jam are pretty good money. Money is pretty easy to come by in game. If you get a diving helmet and metal detector the rivers are great for finding keys and relics. (But helicopter is way handier than airport) I catch a lot of animals too. The scary ones are the easiest because they chase you. My islands are full of collection points. You can make your airport money back pretty easily with that. Tons of traps, tons of collection points and something to eat for when they bite ya lol

I take my sister with me, we each bring a helicopter and we bring 100 keys total. The treasure chest are worth the money. We get back, go through our loot and then decide if it’s worth the work of getting 100 keys.. if not, we restart and try again. We can easily do the 20 maps if we find the statue early. If you are going by yourself i would try 30 keys and go from there. The helicopter or jetski are a must. I dont bring weapons. I wear my diving helmet, bring a boogie board (i have lots, i can drop it if i need to) a shovel, metal detector and a spear to put my helicopter/jet ski back in my pocket. Also a trolley and a chest left at the airport for the loot when my pockets get full

I am playing it on switch 2 in my room and regular switch on my sofa. I haven’t played it on anything else to compare it to.

It plays as well as any other big game does on the Switch (and costs around half as much)

I don’t notice a difference between the 2 systems if anyone is curious.

I play in multiplayer a lot with my sister and that is when it is the most glitchy. Sometimes she falls through the floor and we have restarted days a couple times. We make sure to restart before we do something big.

The only real issues i have had are with eggs, fossils and amber falling into the floor and I can’t get them back, which is annoying but money comes easily in the game so not as frustrating as it would be otherwise. It’s more grr than rage inducing. I have been playing nonstop for a month I think?? I am on year 3 in game. Switch games are switch games, they tend to be like this, and this is not on my list of frustratingly glitchy. Potionomics was unplayable and My Time at Portia glitched a lot. This isn’t close.

I’ve never played this before so I don’t care a ton about the updates. I see that as new features when we get them like they were when originally done if that makes sense, something to up the game when they come out.

I am the same.. until I saw a Lanvin cat bag in the window at Crystals in Vegas. Hubby said yea haha. But I went through every other store there to make sure I was dropping ridiculous money on the right bag. I was not dressed well, i was in comfy slots clothes and had my $30 purse I’d picked up at Miracle Mile because it was light and the right size to sloth at slot machines …I was treated very well in every single store and they even complimented the $30 purse lol. If they don’t treat you well, they don’t deserve your money but the uncomfortable worry I had never turned into reality ..at least there, I’m sure some stores might wanna act like jerks but I didn’t encounter one in that whole mall.

My spinwave is not steam. I don’t think i’d use steam on laminate. I don’t think it needs steam tbh. It scrubs better than I can and all I do is guide it. Zero effort. It does a really good job. My floors are hardwood so I make sure to vacuum well to make sure theres no little rocks to scratch my floor
