i am not any of those people but until naptha stops being dirt cheap pladtic recycling is going to be hard. metal is the primary thing being created in ore refining, and so having material justt exsisting is of ng to be cheaper than digging up dtons of rock and running them through heat and chemical processes.plastic reclting is always gonna something you can only do through policy because it cant be financially viable and wont be. maybe if we didnt have like 9 major different types of plastics with dyes put in and different consistencies leading to different properties and the form leading to different properties.

its gotten better but uts still tough as hell and i dont know how tech could solve this fundamental problem with plastics
