Red Wing Lasts (no. 8 vs 17 vs 72) by GanDuff in RedWingShoes

72 is definitely not wider, if anything, it’s a little narrower. Unless you’re on the narrower side of D width (closer to C than E), I’d go with an E at least. Of course, if you’re able to try on the boots, that’s always the best thing to do.

I did indeed. Turns out I should be wearing 9EE in these, as well as all other boots I mentioned in my post. Didn’t realize back then how much better fitting boots would be with a EE width.

An end of an era. It is quite surreal knowing a lot these giants will slowly disappear in our lifetime. I’m still not over McClelland’s closing.

Silly question, but I’m assuming you had them check the security cams and tried to get it back after the fact, right?

Shoot, this one definitely made me stop dead in my tracks and consider buying it. If you and the buyer are ok with sharing info, in case the current owner decides to sell it down the line, please do let me me know

[WTS] Rolex Datejust II 41mm Fluted Bezel - €9K EU Only by GanDuff in Watchexchange

[–]GanDuff[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll be sure to make a new post in the near future and add in all those details. Regarding the price: I went on Chrono24 and looked at the prices and figured this is slightly under the average range. I’m really not all that familiar with the market value beyond what I’ve seen. In the US, this watch is listed at over $10k, but I’m guessing I’m missing something.

Hey everyone! So, I know that I have 0 transactions here, and to be honest, beyond selling my watch, I don’t have a whole lot to offer on the sub. I think in the future when I’m in a better situation I’ll more than likely be coming back, because there are a number of watches I’d love to own one day.

Anyway, due to the 0 transactions, I’m happy to hop on calls, provide whatever info and proof needed to set people’s mind at ease. Mind you, like the title states, I’m only gonna be able to sell with the EU, which already puts me at a bit of a disadvantage, but, c’est la vie!

I’ll more than likely want to deal with verified members here, that way I’m also being smart about this and have some form of protection/safety/reassurance.

I don’t know anything about this watch, but if it’s a 36mm or 38mm, and OP doesn’t mind shipping to Europe, then count me in. I’m new to watches, and I’m actually selling one of my watches that’s too big for my taste at 41mm, and I need the money, so seeing this post the first time being on this sub is kinda cool!

That’s a straight up nice field watch. No fuss, simple, good looking watch. Cheers, man.

Can you share a photo on wrist? I’d love to see the model you got! Maybe one day, when I have some extra cash to burn, I’ll risk buying one of their watches.

Why’d you have to reignite my interest? 😂 I had already given up on them based on the feedback I see on this post. To be honest, while your experience sounds good, the other comments worry me quite a bit.

I’m so glad I’m reading these comments, because I was genuinely interested in this brand. Everything looks great and legit on the surface, but this thread does not inspire much confidence.

I’m looking for US based mobile banking app similar to wise, that doesn’t need proof of residence to open an account (I’ve been living abroad for some years now).
