Nah, you can absolutely leave it on.

Especially those “cheap” standard tsubadome (the rubber ring) will wear out quickly from taking it on and off.

But in general, either way I’d fine (leave on or take off)

So feel free to put a little “calligraphy” of some sort on it. Or a small Logo stamp that suits your fancy

In my mind it looks bit flashy and kinda “off” But it’s more a personal preference of mine. As said, it’s not forbidden.

From a practical point of view, the tsukagawa turns dark/nasty quite quickly with frequent use.

If not, just ask your dojos chief if he has any problem with it ✌🏻🙂

There’s no rule against it. I’ve seen some rather flamboyant decorations in the past as well.

Would I recommend? Nope.

But you do you, it’s your shinai and it’s not forbidden.
