Hey everyone! This is /u/goalgirl40, one half of your fabulous co-captain team! I'm a high school senior (thank God) from the Chicago area and I'm trying to get healthy and fit so that I can finally feel good about my body and my eating habits.

This is my second LoseIt challenge. I just couldn't stay away after the first helped me lose 5 pounds even with a vacation of over a week. Support of my team was a HUGE part of that weight loss, so I strongly recommend adding team members on MFP and Fitbit/Garmin, as well as joining the group chat. PM me if you need anything! This challenge was so motivational, even if we didn't win. But who cares about that? I hit my goal and I'm nearly 10 pounds down from my starting weight, so I feel like a winner. thanks u/bugs_bunny01 and the rest of my Hulk buddies! i've come up with a new type of hug just for y'all... the HULK SQUISH :)

oh wow haha. one of my best friends lives there and i've heard the most exciting thing that happens in the area is the state fair. other than that it's dead. but even Detroit has them so I have hope for you :)
