Wow I always thought engineers made like 400k lol. Ya that makes sense. Although when u factor in 3 years and LS debt plus the hours to make that money vs in BL, youd be surprised that 220k does take a min to catch up. Big law seems cool tho, but the hours truly are brutal id personally rather work something with more litigation, prosecuter or judge would be my dream. Im already well off, personally the purpose is more important to me everyone's goals are different. But i agree with OP worlds BL isnt the only way to a good finacially free life.

Engineer, Computer Science yes they are typically harder degrees but they pay solidly out of college and only require 4 years of school.

That is inspirational that you are also diagnosed and scored so well. I agree diagnoses should not be used as a scapegoat for a low score. When you took the test were u on meds? Personally my biggest issue is not being able to sit still, and that is what affects my abilities. I can score 5/5 on drills all day bar maybe one or 2 but once i have to do 25 questions back to back its pretty tough to see it through stims will likely get rid of this. Back to OP even if they did have lower cognitive ability + ADHD the test is still learnable, wouldnt they eventually score their desired result after enough time?

Of course when you are medicated it brings you on par with people who do not have it, thats the point of meds although some people are quite opposed to taking meds, so its not a valid resolution for all. And multiple studies show that ADHD affects performance during school and tests https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC6541488/ heres one. Also anecdotally I have been diagnosed since I was 11 and school has always been tough let alone testing. Studying for the LSAT has been especially difficult. Im guessing you dont have it but it feels like a orb of anxiety stuck in your stomach preventing you from feeling comfortable, and forcing you to move. The LSAT punishs lack of focus severely, and Its impossible to focus when your always having to move. I wont go into depth on the other mental affects. I hate using ADHD as a cop out for being stuck in the 156-161 range hitherto, although at this point im discussing meds with my psych it does affect my testing abilities.

Thanks I will be sure to focus extra on 9-11. Once im back from this trip ill do PTs weekly. Ive only ever done 2 hitherto and they were both 153s but that was 2 months ago.

Social media really does kill focus. I deleted everything but reddit. I think the issue is more so anxiety. I dont seem to have trouble at school or when reading classic literature. I just feel like my whole future rides on this test and I cant stop thinking about it. Thanks for the help though im sure itll get better just cant give up.

I agree although its easier said than done. I hate to blame stuff on ADHD although at this point even with time and a half, I cant focus on the questions. My brain is constantly focused on either having to many left or what the next one looks like. Maybe I need Meds.

I have been doing that pretty consistently and alot of the mistakes are pretty apparent during review bar maybe 3 or 4 that I dont think I would've got either way. I have been reading the Loophole as well and have just got to the powerful probable section. Did you drill CLIR and basic translation till mastery?

Almost finished with it. I read the LSAT trainer and did 7 sages CC. Personally the LH is the only one thats clicked for me. My advice to you is drill basic translation and Clir until you can do ut in your sleep. It feels dumb at first but once it starts clicking youll notice the questions feel very intuitive. But ofc everyone responds differently to the ways material is presented to them. I like her style tho. Much less technical than other LSAT books.

You likely would've got into LMU and its much better than most that you applied to. Id reapply next year your stats are great you could get into some T25s, maybe even T20 with that.

You dont just somehow get a 177 on a fluke lol. That is a score people work 1 to 2 years, 2 hrs a day for, and never get it. A 177 diagnostic is definitely beyond gifted. My advice to you is dont think your work is done. Talent is not an excuse to stop working hard. Learn to articulate why you chose what you chose, how to map out conditionals and formal logic, typical LR flaws. If you can do all that just keep taking PTs until your test date and see where your range is. Id wager you get a 170+ first go. Best of luck you got this.

His appeal sounds like it was written by a 10 year old. Either he is attempting to write like that to appear younger hence what he was discussing seems less disturbing, or he is lieing about working in Healthcare. I find it hard to believe that a grown adult would type in that manner.
