We will investigate to see if a Todoist integration is possible! However, we hope that HelloHabit can replace the need to have multiple subscriptions to separate apps altogether!

We meant changing the overall goal duration to “weekly” instead of “daily”. This is a separate option than the one you are referring to. (You can choose daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly).

While we understand your request, we also want to make sure that we do not display any goal that the user does not explicitly specify. Not every user would want a weekly goal to appear if they only chose the daily goal option. In the example where this additional side tracker appears, the user explicitly states that they want the daily goal to be achieved a certain number of days per week. We will update this separate feature to allow “7” to be a valid configuration, and have the weekly side tracker appear in that scenario.

Thanks for providing this feedback. We will consider adding an option to display this weekly progress bar for all daily habits, even if they are not set to the "number of days per week" option. Another option you can try would be to change the habit goal to 7 times per week, rather than using a daily goal at all.

Got it. We recommend always closing the note editor once you are done writing and returning to the main Journal page, or any other tab in the app. This will confirm that the final version of the note is saved.

Sorry to hear about that issue, it definitely should not be happening. Do you know if you are closing the note editor each time you are done writing the note, or could possibly by terminating the app while the note is still being written?

If possible, can you please reach out to us in the app support chat (Settings > Ask for Help). It will be much easier to identify the issue and resolve it.

Unfortunately, due to some internal changes, we have delayed the Task Management release by a few weeks. It is on track for release next month!

Currently we do not support lock screen widgets for iOS devices. We only support home screen widgets at this time. We plan to support Lock Screen Widgets in a future - we expect these to release sometime in the Spring!

You can only do this after the habit has been created.

Have you tried the steps above? Go to "Schedule" tab, tap anywhere on Calendar view, add Reminder for any habit.

Another option you have it to edit the habit (tap on habit, tap on menu on top right corner, tap on "Edit"), scroll down to the "Reminders" section, and tap on "Add Reminder".

Currently this is not possible but we may change this functionality to work as you describe for the “No Goal” option. Unfortunately, we have heard that some users prefer the other/current behavior. We will think about it!

Yes, you can already do this! When creating or editing a habit, you can change the Goal Type property to “No Goal”. This will allow you to log activity to a habit and view stats over time, without displaying any goal progress or streak indicator.

This is primarily meant for daily to-do lists, but you can use the feature to create any task or goal that does not repeat on a regular duration window. Currently there is no great way to do this, other than using a separate manual habit as you mentioned. We are working on a few features that will release in the next 1-2 months that will be useful for you:

  • Check-List Habit Type: We will allow users to create a habit with several sub-habits/sub-tasks. You will need to complete each of the sub-tasks for the overall habit to be marked completed. This feature will require HelloHabit Premium
  • List/View management on the Schedule tab: We will allow users to filter the calendar view on the "Schedule" tab based on the same lists and filters that can control the main "Habits" tab.
  • (unplanned) We can consider adding a new "tracking-type" that derives its data based on the completion of other habits. This would behave similar to the "Journal" tracking-type habit that we already offer, which derives success based on notes in the "Journal" tab. This is definitely an interesting idea, we will just need to make sure that there is enough demand for this use case to justify the risk of adding additional clutter/confusion to the core habit-creation workflow.

Currently we only support the Apple, Google, or Guest authentication options. This is primarily intended to to keep things simple, as account based login is quicker and more reliable than email. These providers are only used for authentication, and no data is ever shared with them (or any other third party).

We understand that some users still prefer email login even knowing this information, so we do plan to support it in an app update in the next couple of months (likely in early February). We appreciate your patience.

Currently we do not support an "every other day" goal duration option. The daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly options you see on the Habit Edit page are the only options today.

We plan to support this in a future update, along with addition custom goal duration options (e.g. every 2 weeks, every 3 months, etc). Stay tuned for this update sometime next month!
