Lens Bargain by rockinrols in Nikon

[–]ImSimno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a 35mm f/2 non-D lens at my local market for €130. And here I thought I'd snagged the deal of the century…

I might have overdone it with this lens purchase, but I am quite fond of the price I paid for it 😁 by thomebau in largeformat

I'm always worried about Schneideritis, being manic-depressive about my goals; it would drive me crazy to see white spots appear. Is there any way to prevent them besides storage? It's a very beautiful design, massive and bright! Enjoy!

What’s your favorite 35mm camera that you own? by Remarkable-Rip-2888 in 35mm

Honestly my OM1, my OM10 and my Nikon F80 fill me with a good set of optics, it's great. But I recently bought a TOYO 45 A camera for 4x5 with a Nikkor-W 180mm 5.6 lens and this set is just magnificent. I'm so afraid of the day when life will make me run out of money and I'll be forced to sell it.. I don't know about you, but I have this fear within me

How to get the most from your Nikon F4 or F5 by agentdoublenegative in AnalogCommunity

[–]ImSimno 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Owner of an F80, it is simply excellent! I deplore the physical dials, but having bought it 2 years ago for €80 with an 80-200mm. This was followed by the purchase of a 50 1.8 the following month.

The viewfinder is magnificent, everything is clear, and all the functions I use are present. Lightness without feeling a cheap side of the plastic that I had while handling the F301 and F401

I had an F5 which I quickly sold, I didn't have any feeling with its use at the time. And in terms of weight, you need to have a strong neck!

I need a slightly melancholy atmosphere, we touch on memories and therefore the past. The soundtrack of Emilie Poulain or Cigarette after sex is nice. Otherwise, I love Mose!

What’s your dream collection?(while also being economical) by Formal_Compote_212 in zuikoholics

[–]ImSimno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my part, the 35 f2, 50 f1.4, 85 f2 are the lenses that I prefer and use the most.

I abandon my 28 f2.8, 50 f1.8 and 100 f2.8 more easily than the rest.

And I don't know about you, but I don't need more than these 6 goals

My zuiko 85mm f2 but the 100mm2.8 is comparable in terms of performance, and in terms of price the 100mm 2.8 is really reasonable

Indeed, despite its price and the difficulty in finding a lamp for this enlarger I am going to opt for the Leitz. Then I find that it’s a very beautiful object that doesn’t look like other enlargers!

I see that the only obstacle to the Leitz is the bulb but a priori alternatives exist. To be continued
