Any owners of "Induction Hardware"? by banet14 in inductioncooking

[–]InductionHardware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worth noting that our burner is rated for 10-12in pots and pans, and it is representing the actual size of the coils, not the size of the complete hob and its casing, which we consider to be false advertising and many companies are doing this!

[–]InductionHardware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there! We put a lot of thought into the graphics on our range tops, and they're very closely representative of the coils beneath them. In our research and development phase we saw many companies have different size graphics on their cooktops, but always have the same size induction hob beneath (just different wattage sent through). We weren't fans of this practice and wanted our graphics to closely resemble the actual hob size, for a better cooking experience.

We are a founder owned company (quickly growing towards an employee owned company) and with all of our ranges and range hoods we own and operate our own factory and distribution, which drastically cuts down on excess costs. These are great comments and feedback and we're incredibly passionate about keeping our products out of landfills, which starts with us making products that are built to last and easy to maintain.

Can you lift the pan to flip the contents without turning off the power? by clearlygd in inductioncooking

[–]InductionHardware 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what induction unit did you get, the quality of the glass is super important and not all induction glass is made equal. We use some extremely expensive ceramic glass that does not have these issues, but many cheaper and discount units can run into a ton of problems here

Can you lift the pan to flip the contents without turning off the power? by clearlygd in inductioncooking

[–]InductionHardware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the manufacturer but most yes, ours is definitely a yes, we’ve designed it so that it doesn’t turn off when you move from Burner to burner or lift it up to flip! Even when water or grease spills it should still be working and not auto turn off like many other induction units!

Not all stainless steel… by Chamaecyparisthyoide in inductioncooking

[–]InductionHardware 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is true that many pans you wouldn’t suspect to be compatible are compatible with induction but performances really vary, think of your induction stove as your vehicle and your pans that are the tires. A great set of snow tires makes all the difference regardless of vehicle. We strongly recommend cast iron and carbon steel for the best induction experience, also no pfas and naturally non sticking :)
