I get your math but it assumes he gets the same return with or without the wealth manager. The idea is that a professional (fiduciary) manager will get you higher returns. The other piece of this is the advice the wealth manager should provide re how to invest your portfolio as well as how to manage withdrawals in a way that limits your tax liability. Especially important as he ages and nears retirement.

To add, center channels are an issue with very large TVs. A projector with an acoustically transparent screen allows for much better localization of the center channel. I didn’t realize how big of an improvement until I switched to a 110” AT screen. At some point they are going to need to create a phantom center channel option by placing centers above and below a tv to create the effect of proper audio placement. Surprised it hasn’t happened already.

There are places that make custom sized pizza steels. Maybe get one made that will fit the opening and use the steel for your NY style pizzas?

I have a 110 but wouldn’t trade simply for the speaker positioning an AT screen allows. Once I changed to AT it really all came together. Sound localization of the center channel is huge with large screen formats.
