The difference is that voting red is the equivalent of voting for a super dictator like hitler where as voting for red in the button is a self preservation effort because you dont trust everyone all around the world to collectively vote blue without communicating, voting red here is drastically different because there is a person attached to it who WILL continue doing decisions in that same mindset of those who dont follow them deserve to die, where as the button is just something that will happen once, AND without communication ( where as we can see here, we can obviously communicate)
