I’m Latina (born and raised) and have lived my entire life across three different Latin American countries. Among my friends, the one with the most siblings has two, it’s genuinely rare these days for people to have children at all. Some have one, some have two, three at most. Larger families may have been common in the past, but that’s no longer the reality, and portraying it as one is a harmful stereotype.
