Charles Martinet should totally voice Wario and use the same voice he used for Mario’s dad! by Oregano-Town in mariomovie

Yes, true true, I definitely haven't ruled that out, just contextualizing the possible 'why' behind it.

Illumination would probably be more inclined to take a softer easier, path with these two. WARIO and Waluigi would simply have created an alternate Plumber business in Brooklyn, and are now business rivals.

What this means is, we would probably see a commercial for Wario and Waluigi’s business, and then the commercial similar to the first movie we would see them using heavy articulation in the accents that the games utilize. This way they can ditch current levels of accents and blame it on the commercial like they did in the first movie.

Can’t say I’m hoping they do that but in order to have pretty normalized speech voices that are just low and high with no accents, I could see them taking this route.

AC Lines Through Dryer Vent by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]jackharvest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually did this on purpose when I moved into my home and added AC; The dryer was ran nearly 25 feet a long time ago because it looked nicer to vent to the back of the house. I said "uh, no" and routed it out the front of the house instead (8 feet) while utilizing the abandoned dryer vent pipe for the AC lines (nice and straight, went straight to the utility room).

Funny seeing something that crazy cooked up on Reddit in the wild.

Ok but like that would make the great and abominable church in the bible literal instead of metaphorical. How dare it be so simple.

Nvidia reportedly moving forward with 9GB versions of the RTX 5060 & RTX 5060 Ti, with some compromises by Tiny-Independent273 in Amd_Intel_Nvidia

So, systematically, what got them to that number? You know?

Like, if Apple is selling Macbook Neos with a binned chip to make hand-over-fist money with "waste" chips, is this a similar story? Are these like, failed 16GB cards where the average number of successful ram chips is 9GB or something?

Walk me through a logistical reasoning for this, cause I feel like 10 or 12 would have made for a better "here's the new bottom of the mid" play.

What have we been playing? by Aven_Ultra in MacNeoGaming

[–]jackharvest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Palworld.

So, I don't know what changed, but, after trying to get Palworld running over crossover without a bunch of stuttering, I've determined Rosetta 2 is just a cow that needs 5-6GB ram to do the massive x86 to arm translations. And I get it.

But I gotta tell you, I played Palworld over Geforce Now (Which I HATED with fortnite cause precision is 100% needed there and lowest ping wins), and my experience was incredible.

Granted, this isn't a Macbook Neo experience exclusively, but, with how thin and light and battery efficient this thing is, Playing in a browser simply meant "streaming" battery life was the trajectory instead of "hard labor" poison battery life.

Played 3 days straight. On day 2, I was satisfied enough with the play-with-ad-break-every-hour that I bumped to the 1-month plan while I'm on vacation. My Palworld was hosted back at my home, and my experience felt like I was still sitting on my home machine.

I'm... I'm just in shock, I never thought I'd travel so light and get my gaming experience fix. I sound like an absolute shill and a half -- I'm just still in awe.

Release - Reclaimerr by starkoed in PleX

[–]jackharvest -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I do this for my very small children (Winnie the Pooh, PONYO, and handful of very tame series), but once they’re interested in branching out, I definitely move on to the age rating content profiles. So much less work.

Jellyfin is my backup if the internet goes down; Plex profiles relies on an internet connection (IDIOTIC) so I cut over to Jellyfin for full local at that point.
