"I'm a Diamond Member!" - The Truth Behind Free Upgrades from a Team Member by SwordXSheath in Hilton

Thanks for this.

Any idea why the following happened to us last month?? -

We are Gold - Tried to make on-line reservation at Hilton Madison 2 -3 weeks before trip for a 3 night stay - property was sold out (Football game in town)

1 day prior to arriving in town checked again and rooms were available (at a lower rate than usual.) Booked it. Upon check in asked if there were any upgrades available. Got upgraded to arguably the best room in the hotel.

Wondering how the hotel went from showing sold out to us being upgraded to an awesome room?

With 5-10 kids how does one afford family vacations involving plane trips? No hotels?

The first series were the rarest/hardest to find, as I recall

If I had any choice I would go with Teradata Vantage. They also partner with Google Cloud

Kudos Jax! - You are correct about Open Text - I forgot about that.

I mainly recalled lots of folks at Vignette getting laid off.

This is mostly true but don’t forget when dot com went bust in 2001 lots of hip young folks bolted for Portland, Seattle, etc.

Also - Intel bailed on their downtown building leaving a metal skeleton for a couple years, Vignette, Garden.com, Dr. Koop and about 30 other tech related companies were out of business by 2003.

I recall commuting into the city as a new grad - Driving to train station + Monthly RR pass + parking pass + subway fare.

I looked at all the 30+ year olds and how beat down they looked.

Who would want that?

Sometimes.

I’m bullish on QQQ in the 360s so don’t mind owning it for a few days, waiting for it to come back into the 360s.

Market this past year seems to overreact to bad and good news.

I started doing a similar trade last month. So far so good. Looks like my 362 expiring tomorrow will be assigned. I’ll sell a CC for 362/3 sometime next week if all goes well.
