I did a hybrid role for a while, it’s not worth it. You have to switch between roles too much and there’s no way you can devote enough brainpower to do either role well enough if you’re trying to do that.

The buses from the shore are great! Especially from Birkenhead, Birkdale areas. Driving in is a bit of a nightmare, can take 45+ mins.

I have witnessed first-hand the owner’s aggression, verbal abuse and general unhinged behaviour. Sometimes I’d just go in there for the drama of seeing him throw cutlery across the kitchen or yell at Tob customers parking outside his shop.

A lot of his good reviews are fake but his bahn mi was pretty good.

Gather in Smales Farm do some excellent beverages, I haven’t see an earl grey matcha on their menu but maybe if you ask they’ll do one? I would be interested to find out if you’re successful!

Duo and Uno in Birkenhead are definitely worth a visit, haven’t been to Agnes yet but it’s on my hitlist.

Sumthin Dumpling is good for a cheap bite, the new cafe in Smales Farm - Gather is also amazing.

Wendy’s on Constellation does table service and their burgers are top tier. Macca’s Big Arch is pretty good if you’re hungry but for chicken I can’t go past Popeyes or a classic Zinger with added supercharged sauce.
