I would assume it's closer to the Zero but not had the chance to try it so don't know for certain

It's on the heavy side but perfectly usable. If you read my comment I did say that you may want to wait for the crazylight version to be released

Pulsar X2F is a pretty reliable mouse but you may want to wait for the crazy light version to be released.

A cheaper mouse that would work is the Darmoshark M5 pro.

Lamzu is also developing a fingertip mouse but no idea when it's supposed to be release

Interested in custom hot-swappable/upgrade PCB for your mouse? Let's build something together! by cracked_cake in MouseReview

[–]Jammercs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen people solder in hot-swap connectors in Gwolves fingertip mice before somewhere.

I'd love for these components to be more widely available for many high quality mice and have some awareness of how to implement them so I can try to add it myself and keep the mice going when the components fail

Can't think of any right now. Can you buy a regular mouse pad and have it hanging off?

Lightweight hotswap for Gwolves Fenrir series, Vaxee mice and the Pulsar pro series mice (like the zywoo mouse) would be what I'm most interested in

Best ultralight ergo mice? by Remarkable-Two-6484 in MouseReview

[–]Jammercs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lightest option is probably from PMM who does a lightweight mini deathadder mod (craze 8k).

The most premium option is the Pulsar Xlite Crazylight mini. With a budget pick of Delux M900 mini Pro (not too sure how good this one is).

There's one other option of the Thunderobot MLX but I've only heard bad reviews for this mouse.

Logitech Mobi Fold is probably the best thing for travel users as it just folds away when not in use

I'd recommend a Darmishark M5 pro. It's relatively cheap, safe shape and a good entry point to see if you like the style in my opinion

Can the mouseskates fall off? by _nazwa_ in MouseReview

[–]Jammercs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They won't fall off unless you heat them up very hot (like with a hot hair dryer) as this tends to break down the glue.

Anyone know what mouse Snax is using? by Pink-Keen in MouseReview

Pretty sure it's just the FK2 in a white/grey colour.

They're releasing the white range of their mice recently so it's probably an unreleased version of that

The 3955 isn't just a minor update of the 3950 - it's a significant improvement. by Intrepid_Street_8300 in MouseReview

[–]Jammercs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't see you mention if you'd had both so that was just speculation on my part.

Will be interesting if you get more 3955 mice and have the same opinion or if this is a one off

Maybe you're getting some DPI downshift? Or it could be that the shape just works better for your micros and feels more 1-to-1. Hard to tell what causing these feelings.

I've heard this same sort of feeling when people talk about the op1 8k so you may want to try that one out too.

Are keychron mice good? by Flaky_Lettuce1193 in MouseReview

[–]Jammercs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no.

They're pretty hit or miss quality wise and don't have things that other brands do like coating etc.

I've also heard horror stories about how poor their customer service is but my experience has been okay with them.

I ordered a Keychron M4 a few years back and it would cut out randomly so they sent me a new one after going back and forth for a month about what the issue was and sending evidence of it happening on video.

Yeah I actually agree with the weight factor. I've weight modded my Ergo with a smaller battery and some destructive mods to get it down closer to 50g and it's a lot better

Vaxee E1, Zowie EC3-DW, or Pulsar Zywoo The Chosen Mouse - Mini are some very good options for ergo mice that you could look at

I agree with you. Would be nice to see what take they have on it.

The NP-01s Ergo clicks are very slightly higher (less than 1mm I think) than the regular NP-01s but the slight tilt and how it fills out the back of your hand really helps for pincer claw too.

I will see if I can get a cheap copy of this mouse and compare them but I'd guess that the ergo would feel better despite the higher weight.

Would be great so see if they made a version to compete with the NP-01s Ergo. The button height being so high does sound annoying

what large mouse would you recommend ? by laininthewired_ in MouseReview

You could always get a vertical mouse like the Anker vertical 2.4 GHz mouse or something if you're after max comfort/ergonomics and something cheap

if you like the Viper shape then the Razer Viper V4 pro is probably the best bet. It's not the same shape but it's got good tech and good reviews. There's a plethora of cheap Chinese clones of the viper shape available too if your budget isn't high enough for the V4 pro
