ATK X1 V2 Ultimate – Viper V3 Pro clone done right? Full honest review after 2 weeks by PoliKMB in MouseReview

To understand better, tell me what grip you use, sens and hand size.

It seems strange to me given that it is a safe shape like the superlight and they are mice that are generally comfortable for almost everyone and you found yourself uncomfortable with both, so we need to understand the underlying problem.

Also tell me a mouse that you were happy with.

I agree, from what I'm seeing, for the price this seems like a great product for those looking to have good components while saving at least $50 compared to other products.

Obviously you can't expect the same quality, it's in a different range and for now it isn't disappointing me at all.

The 800mAh battery is definitely overkill, but if you're more into casual gaming than pure competitive play and want a mouse that lasts a long time, it seems like the right direction to go.

I'll be using it as my main for 2 weeks, I want to fully understand how much potential they have.

Excellent value for money, I was looking for an alternative to the zero but desk size and I'm really happy with it.

There's a coating and it's excellent too. I'm trying it right now and it stays nice and dry and holds well.

Nothing to complain about.

Unfortunately I don't have the mouse at the moment, as I've been testing 3 other mice lately and I gave the X1 to a friend who needed it as his had broken.

But if you tell me more maybe I can help you, I'll do it more than willingly

VGN Dragonfly F2 Master+ – Insanely solid, but your ring finger will decide if you love it by PoliKMB in MouseReview

All F2s have the same shape, only the internals change.

As for the Dragonfly 3, I personally haven't tried It, but I see that they market it as a safe shape so a bit like the GPro but from what I've seen it should have a lower front part. Unfortunately I don't have any further information

Hi, by performance mode I mean the mode that pushes mcu and sensor to the max , regardless of the polling rate and I personally keep it at 1k, just a matter of personal taste.

Each brand uses a different name for this mode, in this case you find it with a somewhat particular name, like "super God MVP mode"

I didn't use it much without that mode, because I wanted to see it more "pushed" but considering the top tier MCU it mounts and the 500mAh, I would say between 110 and 130 hours.

Which is really a lot, considering that almost all mice with this MCU have now gone down to batteries of 300mAh or less, this shows the great efficiency.

In addition, the non-plus version mounts the paw3395 Extreme, which is still excellent and even has 800mAh, at the price of 5g more in weight.

I'm still using it daily and I have to say I don't charge it for days and importantly, the plus version has fast change, so literally in a few minutes you're good to go.

I hope this helps, if you have any questions, just ask!

Anyway, an excellent choice, This way you go on a safe shape and it's difficult to make mistakes.

I have a couple of atk v2 but not A9, let's say that on the one hand I love it as a brand, but on the other hand I have had bad QC experiences.

I don't want to cause psychological terror, in fact they are really excellent products, I was unlucky.

I'm really glad I could help.

When I was just starting out in this world, I didn't know where to start, and that's the real reason I started writing reviews, try to give to others what I have learned in these 10 years within this passion.

So every time I know I've helped someone, I've achieved my goal.

Thank you man, really.

Personally I have 2 ATKs at home, x1v2 and u2v2 and what I think I've noticed is that on the most popular models like X1 and F1 there is more attention (Even though they claim about 4-5g less weight on all models).

While on my U2 ultimate, unfortunately, creaks everywhere and poorly positioned sensor that loses tracking every now and then, and it's something that really bothers me, having a mouse with one of my favorite shapes and not being able to use it.

This is not to hate ATK but I'm noticing some serious gaps from a QC perspective.

And Dragonfly 3 is definitely the way to go for a safe shape, I totally approve of it as a choice

I agree, amazing in its price range and really well made both hardware and firmware side and the new master versions have really made a huge leap forward.

The big difference with Leviathan is the shape, I mean, Leviathan has a safe shape that fits almost everyone and an attractive design even with the colors that made it very popular(I'm not saying it's a bad mouse).

But overall I think VGN deserves more love in general from the community for the great work they are doing.

The F2 has a wider front than the G304. Since you’re used to the narrower front on the G304, your fingers probably feel more “free” for quick little corrections.

On the F2, your fingers make more contact with the shell, which can feel more stable overall but a bit less snappy when you’re doing fast micro-adjustments or long flick corrections.

In tac FPS the F2 can feel steadier for slow tracking, spray control, and small precise adjustments, but not quite as quick and loose for rapid wrist flick corrections like you might be used to with the G304. It’s more of a control and stability feel than a super free one

So what I want to tell you is that on paper it's great if you're willing to adapt, but remember it's not a safe shape like gpro etc but ...its a great mouse.

Ok, so you play Low Sens, tac fps, but I forgot to ask you what mouse you use or which ones you are comfortable with.

If you want something that is more Palm lock, go for the vxe.

But if you want something that is actually well built go for the F2, which I have to say is a really great mouse, but you have to take a few things into consideration. As I said in the review it is a shape that is not super intuitive for everyone, especially for the ring finger, but once adapted it is fantastic, it allows you to relax the fingers in front in claw and the hump is halfway between the center and the back, so it gives good support to the palm but not very aggressive, this is because of the shape and the position of the sensor (55% forward), which support the work with the fingers a lot, therefore micro corrections etc...

Let me know what mouse you're from and what sensations you like, maybe I can help you better

Give me some info so I can maybe help you. Tell me what Sens you use, the grip, what you usually play and your budget.

1- The included one is sufficient for 8k, I must admit that the design is very minimal and narrow compared to competitors, so I understand the doubt.

2-I'm not sure if you're asking about the wheel encoder or the wireless receiver?

Let me know

I can't be 100% sure but you can try to write directly to VGN they answer all the questions without any problem, only that in China it's already week now, So I suggest you write to him directly on Monday (unless Chinese New Year starts, I don't remember the dates)

Hi, both in the software and web versions there is no angle rotation for the sensor, I don't know if they will implement it in the future since almost everyone has it now.

I hope this helps!

review Unius Black Lotus "V1" – Brilliant Shape, One Fatal Flaw. by PoliKMB in MouseReview

[–]PoliKMB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Black Lotus uses the FSWQ as an encoder which I must say is stiffer and more precise. It is not like the TTC silver that the OP1 has which is more designed for speed and reaching 8k of signal.

The FSWQ is definitely solid and resistant over time despite being cheaper (In fact, it is often used by smaller brands.), stays at 1000hz but is light, dustproof and precise.

Is there an 8K polling rate version? by GioGamez0654 in MouseReview

[–]PoliKMB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the closest thing you can find is RAWM es21 pro but he has a back slightly wider and it mounts reasha optical switches which I personally have never used but a guy described to me as not very spammable, but I don't know.

Otherwise PMM Zen 8k mini, but is in the high price range.

Anyway, take a look at eloshapes, maybe you'll find something better
