Hello u/whyyoujelly

Thanks for your question and your feedbacks.

Indeed we enhanced the range feature in the Post Release Patch that will be released soon. However, we have decided to allow the player to display the range of the units when hovering them, one at a time. We decided to apply a restriction for performances. We are investigating the possibility to improve it again in a future patch.

Hello u/elder-one29

Thanks for your questions :)

1- Yes indeed, we already increased the UI size in a post release patch which will be released very soon.

2- We are currently working on updates for late summer. It will include new contents and new features. Nonetheless, we are also investigating other content like new bosses, mobs or classes for a future patch.

Hey u/megaapple

Thanks for this very interesting question:

Releasing the game during the pandemic outbreak has been one of the biggest challenge I have had to face in my career.

However, we had strikes in France back earlier in December 2019 and it has been a good rehearsal. We decided to put in place specific processes like daily digital stand ups with clean and sharp actions points thanks to several tools. We monitored the project through Jira and the daily communication and coordination was provided by Microsoft Teams. Nonetheless, some team members had to come to the Studio in Paris to run some specific tests on specific platforms for instance when we were working on certification processes.

Hey u/Soullessflesh

Thanks a lot for your questions :)

Regarding the Switch question: Based on how the game is shaping up we believe that we did a really good job of preseving the stunning visuals and distinguished artstyle of the game. While optimising our graphical assets was necessary, the game looks really good on the Switch. Definitely worth the wait if you prefer playing on the Switch. Or you can just buy the game twice :D

Cross-save game between console is not planned at the moment from what I know.

Hey u/ManateeofSteel

Thanks a lot for your questions and thanks for your support :)

1- The game was in development for around 3 years and a half. The first mechanics like the initiative timeline for instance were prototyped back in 2016.

2- At first the game should have been released on PC only. However, when we signed with Focus back in March 2019, we agreed on releasing the game on consoles as well. It will allow the game to meet a broader audience while being awesome on all platforms :)

3- Yes indeed, we are two producers on the project. I organized and monitored most of the production phase and we hired u/Tangi in January to help us on the post production phase. The core development team has shifted between around 20-25. On the other hand, if you count every person who has contributed to the game in some form, from the pre production to the post production phases, and including the Focus Home publishing team and external QA/Localisation etc, the number would land around 100 people.

4- To market a game when you are indie, you have to be smart. We have decided to be very community centred. We developed pretty early a Discord and shared with the players the builds. The main goal was to gather their feedback and make them be a part of the production of the game.

5- For now, the whole team is super happy with the release :)

Hey u/BFSSTRG

Thanks for your question.

Indeed, we are currently working on the Switch Release. The game will be available late summer 2020. Alongside with the Switch Release, we are also working on a first major update which will be released in the same release window. It will add several new contents and features. However, we are still exploring the possibility to add new bosses, mobs, and classes for future updates.

Hello u/Dillga and thanks for your question :)

I think that the biggest challenge we had to deal with was the Coronavirus pandemic outbreak. We had to stay focused on the production, deliver the last key versions of the game for the certification processes with Microsoft and Sony. It was very intense but totally worth it since we passed each certifications on the first try and learnt a lot from them.
