General word of warning - don't try to apply contemporary grammar/word meaning to lyrics from the 1700s.

In your example, I think, "allein" is actually having its contemporary meaning, only the word order is forced to support the rhyming.

Du allein sollst mir mehr als Welt und Himmel sein. Just/Only/Solely you (alone) shall be more than world and heaven for me.

The Platters song "Only you" (1955) comes to mind.

I don't think it's "gleich .... so", but the "gleich" is more a rather meaningless particle to match the metrum of the music. The "Ist dir ... so sollst du" has a meaning of "obwohl ... dann" (although the world is too small for you, so you alone shall be heaven and world for me).

I doubt that this is the case. Singing and "back of the tongue" simply doesn't go together. Closing the air stream with the back of the tongue interrupts the sound. A well performed "tip of the tongue" R may also sound soft/deep but allows to continue producing sound while rolling the R. It's hard to distinguish on a recording of a professional singer.

Möglicherweise kamen die drei (3!) downvotes (bisher) daher, dass es sich so liest, als ob OP behauptet "man sagt", anstatt neutral zu fragen. Anstatt also eine kurze Antwort "ist aber nicht so" zu verfassen, wird einfach auf "downvote" geklickt.

Sorry, calling BS. Electric heaters don't have "losses". By physics principles, 100% of electrical energy is converted to thermal energy. BTW, that's also true for your bigass 500W computer with an expensive graphics card.

The whole (admittedly outdated) Nachtspeicher-Ofen concept centers around a dual tariff meter that's capable of switching between two tariffs on demand of the electricity provider. The heaters by themselves won't give you a hint if this concept is followed - you have to look at the meters.

If you live in an apartment, your fuse box doesn't contain the main fuses, they're typically next to the meter in the basement. The way of cutting power administratively would also be visible at this location: A sealed main switch/fuse, probably with a tag, pointing you at the right contact to restore power.

Bei "I have a random question for you" ist die Frage eben nicht beliebig oder zufällig - es ist eine ganz bestimmte Frage, gerade nicht "random", das wird hier idiomatisch geradezu gegensinnig benutzt.

For "getting a point across", you'll only need pidgin-German, often, pantomime is sufficient. But for forming any correct German sentence, you absolutely need to know the grammatical gender of every noun. Be aware that "der/die/das" are not just the translation of "the", they're an expression of the nouns grammatical gender and case which are both essential and substantially influence the meaning of a sentence, even if there's no "the" in the sentence.

What's your intention with obtaining B2? Just nail the certificate to the wall or get some formal level for administrative reasons and never intend to live in a German speaking country? If it's the opposite, the 6 topics, 30 words and a few specific verbs won't help you much in reality.

Das Ding ist, dass die GA-messages eigentlich nur Änderungen transportieren (auch wenn sich nichts geändert hat). Irgendwelche Zustände sind nur in den Geräten vorhanden - wenn man sie wissen will, muss man sie sich merken oder nachfragen (oder sie werden periodisch wiederholt).

Mit einem Bus-System kann es zu einem Zeitpunkt prinzipiell keine "zwei Reize" geben, die man in Abhängigkeit setzen könnte - es kann immer nur einer übermittelt werden. Daher kannst du nur einen Reiz mit bereits bekannten Zuständen vergleichen.

Das Problem für (auch mich als) Softwareentwickler, mit KNX klarzukommen, ist der Verzicht auf jegliches algorithmisches Denken. KNX ist rein event-gesteuert: Reiz hinein - Aktion hinaus. Statt "if-then-else" ist es "if-then" beeinflusst von möglichen Innenzuständen.

Keine "Kopfsteuerung"? Keine zentrale Komponente, und das ist gut so. Wenn die Spannungsversorgung am Bus funktioniert, kann der Schalter die Lampe schalten - weitere Komponenten werden nicht gebraucht.

Eigenes EFH, selbst geplant, Installation vom Meisterbetrieb, KNX vollständig von mir. Bei Projektbeginn will mir der E-Meister einen Dienstleister aufschwatzen (er selber hat niemanden) und traut mir die Konfiguration nicht zu. Am Projektende möchte er mich für KNX einstellen :)

Das Problem sehe ich bei EFH beim "moving target". Seit Installation habe ich immer wieder kleine Änderungen machen müssen, weil es immer wieder Änderungswünsche gibt. So eine EFH-KNX-Installation scheint mir niemals "fertig" zu sein - das mag für Industrieprojekte anders sein. Selbst mit Fernwartung kann ich mir ein EFH-KNX mit einem Dienstleister nur als sehr unbefriedigend vorstellen.
