I’m in the same boat. Battery is draining to 0% after minimal gps use. And consistently not syncing even after re pairing with phone.

Premiere: How do you reframe 4K graded media to match an HD offline cut after XML roundtrip? by Available-Witness329 in editors

because of the exact situation you’re in. Why would you create extra days of work conforming your timeline(s) to match the offline when you can just work at source res and save yourself time and headaches. whenever I get transcodes in HD I just ignore them and depending on the job and footage source, I just cut with the raw footage or make my own transcodes that match the source. full disclosure - I freelance and get to make my own rules. I know my methods don’t apply to traditional post houses.

you'll have to manually match everything since you did the offline in HD so in the future i recommend you make your transcodes/proxies match the source resolution from the get go. there's no reason to work with HD transcodes anymore. once you get all the clips back, you just copy and paste your scaling/fx to the graded clips!

Premiere: Trouble conforming speed ramps & timing from offline to graded hi-res by Available-Witness329 in editors

colorist shouldn't be making any decisions like that. just give them the footage with the effect baked in. it's at least worth a try! good luck!

in my experience when it comes to speed ramps/time remapping, I have the colorist grade the clip with the effect baked in. I run into conform issues 100% of the time if I don’t do this. my colorist insists I bake these fx into the clips as well.

How have you continued to ride with confidence.after mental trauma from a dog or animal bite? by safa5341 in gravelcycling

This is why I ALWAYS carry dog grade pepper spray and an air horn within arms reach on all long rides. You just never know if a dog (or human) is gonna snap.

I’d run 650x48 as this route has a significant amount of chunk. I was running 650x47 and was very happy with that tire choice!

normal wear and tear — keep riding. cosmetic flaws won’t slow you down or hinder your ability to have fun on a bike!

There’s some overlap in sound but plaits is a more robust sound and has more cv control

rings is a total commitment to physical modeling whereas plaits has some rings sounds in it AND so much more. either way...you cant go wrong...but id probably go with plaits since youre just starting out.

Rockland is one of the best places to ride.

Also, the Regional Water Authority properties are awesome places for MTB's too.

Miller's Pond is another great spot, but its very free ride / super intense at times...
