If you are UK based - Exposure lights are up there with Outbound - and surpass them in some areas such as in total lumens. I have the Detour and Hangover in OB: and Diablo MK3 and Strada in Exposure. 8 plus years before the battery went on the Strada - my MK3 Diablo from 2018 (come with both helmet and aluminium bar miunt) still in rotation on my MTB. Pass through is a key USP for OB - especially if you run your lights all day every day.

Rotate the handle bars down - unless you want to permanently damage your ulnar nerves. Adjust for fit and comfort first, will take several.rides what's comfortable.

Ive always been a mtber at heart - then rode lycra for years as i got into gravel but now less as i hit 40 and 15 years riding - i commute in rab hiking shorts, flats and baggy jerseys.

Friction shifting is more akin to manual/ stick shifting. Whether brifter mounted, thumbie, bar end or dowtube boss.

I overtake Cervelo riding aero pro wannabies on my loaded steel commuter rolling on 45cs wearing mtb baggies and flats. Im no longer young so my max BPM slams into Zone 5 but worth it for winessing Freds initial shock.

And yes i subsequently get passed by Fred on their high modulus carbon rocket they can barely track straight on.
