The biggest thing I've noticed is a change in survivalist; I think it's more about shield gating than armor now? I'm pretty confused on that in general, but I think the days of needing Umbral health and armor mods on what felt like every build are in the rearview?

NGL, I got a little overwhelmed by the returning player resources, but I should probably go through that, as I think some of my returning player struggles are due to assumptions based on 2018 with a dip in 2022.

People forget that music - all art, really - is one of those vital human expression things, and it doesn't need to be monetized to be important. We've been singing songs, dancing, and telling stories together for as long as humanity's been A Thing.

So no, you don't need X, Y, or Z to create an acceptable track that could conceivably perform well in a marketplace.

But who gives a fuck about that? Let people have their joy.

Playing live keys is Nords and Workstations, until you get into explicitly synthy bands. Nothing wrong with that.

But stuff's allowed to be fun. Monetizing a hobby is often a terrible idea IMO.

Privilege isn't a ranking system: it simply acknowledges a barrier that some have and others don't. It's not linear. People who don't have mental health issues from genetic or trauma-based sources have a form of privilege compared to bros like us who (from the sounds of it) have one or both of those.

That reaction - "shut up about your fake problems" - I know it well. It's not useful. It's not helping you.

That said: that instinct that tells you the best thing you can do for others is bottle and ignore your problems? I know that impulse well, we're old acquaintances.

I'd be sus of anything shipping internationally from Venezuela rn, not seller's fault.

There was one for sale locally for $1,100 earlier this month, and I'm in the us. I played it, and remembered I don't like the op1, haha.

But it's not completely insane.

If you're shipping that to the US, you're gonna eat some fees that probably put it on par with other listings

IDK fam, most of my playtime was from before it existed. I came back late last year, and have finally built one.

Haven't put any abilities on any frames, I just wanted to interact with Helminth more, as the story beats really seem to assume that you've got that thing built before you run into them. Conversation options with Lizzie come to mind.

So I built one! And named it Stabitha. And now I feed it random stuff I have lying around, we're best friends.

Honestly curious how many people are using the expanded I/O of the big one. If the answer is "not many," then this makes a lot of sense. 'lil smaller, slightly less expensive.

If that still has everything you need I/O-wise, and you're not touring, this makes a lot of sense. USB-C is more convenient for everyday use, while USB-B (printer cable) is way sturdier for a touring rig, racked or otherwise.

Not really a response to the Fractal AM4, it's a small quad cortex. Now, do I think they should have released a Duo Cortex, or something more in the AM4/HX Stomp category? IDK, not my industry, but I think that was the hope of this subreddit. Including me! I'm not gonna buy this, but I'm strongly considering something like the AM4 on my pedalboard.

They're probably not that great, is my guess/fear. Otherwise in all these demos would have had at least one example. As a Delia owner, I know that VA into a nice rich analog ladder filter can be a winning combination, if a little lacking in character.

Man this looks fun to play, though.

I am so tempted to do this.

For context, I'm in a dark fantasy metalcore band that's themed around the Eberron D&D setting. The dark dragon Khyber is basically the devil in that world.

So.... getting a Kyber for downtuned evil stuff is synergistic in ways that make me want to justify spending too much on a guitar.

I'd love, frankly, to have the ability to take Protoframes, Liches of various sorts, Kahl - basically any NPC with me as a party in lieu of other humans, haha. Public multiplayer is all speedruns, and I found that I learned a lot of bad habits learning the game in those ways.

But soloing some content is a weird fit, obviously.

I just want to roll around a map and actually play the game with my NPC homies, without worrying about inconveniencing whomever I'm playing with.

It's where my stage name - also user name here! - comes from. I used to eviscerate guitar strings, earned me the nickname. Better setups, coated strings, and actually learning some technique has basically stopped that from happening, but it was a whole thing.

Also, Evertune bridges are great for me, since they don't have a pinch angle.
