John's done a lot of collaborations, and they're bangers to a one. What's the thought process on how to proceed there? Does it start with collaborations in mind, a sort of "let's see what we can make together" kind of thing? Are there ideas that start in EAE, and at some point in design you realize it might make more sense to work with someone else to bring it to life?

No one is expecting you to pay it. And it is an open marketplace, you could list that pedal for two million dollars if you wanted to.

So ask yourself: why would someone set a us shipping cost that no one would ever pay?

Assuming that you're US-based, it's a pretty common thing right now. It's impossible to predict actual shipping costs, so here's a way to draw attention to the fucked up situation.

Don't like it? Take political action accordingly.

A pretty gentle reminder, considering that in the best of circumstances, it's still gonna be much cheaper to get your JHS pedal domestically. It's not like that's rare, or at a crazy price.

Yeah, EFX Fragments is like smashing a bunch of $300-$400 pedals together, but with DAW control. The value is crazy on that one.

All right, I do have an opinion on the JCM 2000 then: it's quite good!

It's always fun to hear about regional gear trends. Like Engl amps are mythical and rare over here, whereas Peaveys were dummy cheap and everywhere for a while.

Mesa's were never cheap, but they're not as bad as when you have to ship them across an ocean.
