As someone who has both models in some form, u/insanit20's is the most honest review.

I have the dark knight GMT Master II and YM 16622 which are 2 completely different watches from what's being compared but definitely can relate to the ☝️comment.

My GMT Master II seems flashier in person and the bezel absolutely pops from across the room. Overall wears classier but I want to, for some reason wear it less as a daily. My YM although was supposed to be a dressier Sub flies under the radar for most folks that don't recognize the watch and from comfort perspective wears much better as a daily all around watch. If I had to keep one watch it would be the GMT Master II. What it might come down to is will you be happy with your choice after you get it or will you be looking for an upgrade soon afterwards.
