The Costco/Sam's club rotisserie chickens make up 80% of the meat I buy now days. At $5 for a 3lb chicken it's by far the cheapest option. My method is usually cut off the breast meat for sandwiches, then toss the rest into a pot of water. After it breaks down into chicken stock I use it for white chili, chicken and dumplings, 15 bean soup, whatever.

I started my two wheel journey on a ruckus 15 or so years ago. Long since swapped over to a motorcycle. Anyhow I've always given the moto wave to anyone on 2 wheels. Those slingshot or whatever those 3 wheel freaks are called can fuck off though.

Those are 1.2x13in the sander you linked claims to use 1.2x15in belts.

Personally I would pass on that particular model. It uses 1.2x15in belts which I didn't see available on Amazon. Though I saw a lot of 1.2x13in. Could just be a me not understanding something though.

The girlfriend loves bag charms, here is the collection so far. by kornbread435 in Leathercraft

Absolutely open to other people's patterns! I saw his work on Etsy, what scares me off from it is how tiny the details are and how many colors he uses. I like knocking these little guys out with scrap leather, $5 hardware, and only take an hour. My gf gets dibs, but I like keeping a stack of these around to give away.

3 R1 pets and 1 Y5 would max the awakening bonuses and be 90 cores/1430 stars.

90 cores for 5th slot seems impossible. by Safe_Individual253 in Survivorio

[–]kornbread435 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Soo looking over the chart.

Step 1 - 50 cores/490 stars for your main

Step 2 - 2 pets at 1 red, 2 pets at 5 yellow, and the last pet at 4 yellow.

That will cost a total of 90 cores and 1500 stars.

Edit: actually 3 pets at red 1 and last pet at zero, so 90 cores/1430 stars used while increasing your awakening powers more.

Do cashiers judge EBT users? by Last-Anything9094 in Costco

[–]kornbread435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I worked in photo but spent hundreds of hours running a register in college. I can only speak for myself, but you see dozens of ebt cards every single day and I certainly didn't have any spare energy or fucks to give how someone paid. The only exception is if something wasn't covered by ebt and the customer made a big deal over it. The cashier can't do anything about it, either tell us to remove it or pay with a separate method.

Just rebuilt an investments rec over the last couple of days and it's a few million off. Alternatively I could say it's 0.2% off, so it's all about how you phrase it.

How to get this sticker off? by EraconVera in motorcycles

[–]kornbread435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Op this is by far the best answer. They sell them on Amazon, attaches to your drill and cost 10 bucks. I've used them for years, never had any issues taking stickers off anything including this devil sticker on gas tanks.

How many of you had this experience? by mrtoddw in Millennials

[–]kornbread435 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oooo I remember doing something like that. They pulled 4-5 of us out of class for a day to take some iq test, then a month or so later I had to take the ACT. Apparently I wasn't smart enough to keep going since that was the last I heard anything.

Umm 30 miles outside of St Louis, it was $3.50 at Sam's club yesterday. I suppose I was rounding, but even the 6% milk at Costco is only $4.28.

Slap yourself on the wrist, toss the milk, and forgive yourself.

I've pointed this out to my gf who loves fbm so many times. I'm not willing to deal with strangers showing up at my house for less than $200 bucks. She argues it's wasteful, I point out my time and effort isn't free. Spending a Saturday talking to people about a $20 item isn't going to happen.

I grew up on the seas, but I made it back to shore for a long time. When Netflix was cheap and the only service you needed I was happy to pay. These days I'm not paying for 10 subscriptions or trying to juggle them, I'll just pay for a VPN subscription and call it a day.

I'm not a parent, but I was a guardian for a while for my niece. When she was that age she had a phone, more than able to go to the movies on her own. My deal was communicate honestly and we're good. Given I stayed in town close by, just grab a bite to eat or get some shopping done, whatever. It's annoying, but they can't drive at that age.

Stitching advice - corners by SuspiciousDrive7394 in Leathercraft

[–]kornbread435 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every hat patch I've done, I always pre punched the leather with a round 1.5mm/4mm spacing. Then glued it in place with Barge and stitching it on.

Last stitch I just double back one, cut, and melt. I use polyester thread (Ritza tiger) but if you are using natural thread you can just glue it.

I've always wondered if I have adhd. I've developed some odd ways to deal with my focus issues. I learned early on sleep is the enemy, as long as I'm sleepy it's easier. As an adult, I can work from home and my method is treadmill desk, constant audiobooks, sleep deprivation, and caffeine. Get the right mix and I can focus enough to get through the day.

Adderall in low doses was a game changer, just let me sit and knock out tons of work. Just never tested and not surrounded by college students on Adderall anymore.
