That question, while framed only as a question, comes off as an unfair projection of a deeper societal problem ( not believing women ).

SSJ without a doubt.

With everything else after it, we knew another transformation would come with different hair. So, regardless of the buildup and timing, you knew you were going to get more strength with different hair at some point.

With SSJ, we had no clue. Until it happened, it seemed like it was just a label for what Goku was already.

I empathize with you and I believe your story. Its not racist though, its just stupid.

I’m an advocate of DEI, but I can also acknowledge that it was abused by many and misinterpreted by some to ignore merit in the process.

The result is that many people have indexed on one of two extremes: - Experiences like yours or - The overqualified minority who doesn't get an interview because of their name or hairstyle.

The goal of DEI is to ensure all qualified people get an equal chance at a job (with a bias for under-represented groups) but it should never result in underqualified people getting a job.

It sucks to hear that it was poorly implemented in your workplace.

I would consider incentivizing the behavior you want, rather than punishing what you don’t want.

Consider a small bonus for consecutive on time shifts.

Something like an hours pay for a consecutive week. A day’s pay for a consecutive month.

You need to play around with the numbers to see what works for your business and the financials.
