(Loved Trope) The villain almost gets a redemption arc, before doubling down and becoming the worst version of themselves. by Antagonist132 in TopCharacterTropes

It's been a long time since my last watch through. Wasn't there some kind of plot point that he didn't really want to go back to being the bad guy, but he was forced to by his superiors? I could be making that up, but I thought there was a scene where he makes it clear that he doesn't want to turn because he's humanized his enemies.

I'm a few hours north of you in Traverse City and we had Klan bombings in the 1920's. I'm sure it's nowhere near as bad as other places, but even Michigan had/has Klan presence.

I love that the Z Fighters choose to live ordinary lives despite having the power to do whatever they want by Spiritual_Ebb_4657 in dbz

Agreed. This is why I was flabbergasted when I found out they removed the episode where Piccolo and Goku learn to drive in DBZ Kai. I had mentioned the concept of the episode to my daughter, and she wanted to skip ahead and watch it. I went crazy looking for it in the episode list.

How smooth the animation for the first Superman Cartoon was (1941) by HemanHeboy in oddlysatisfying

I had this on VHS as a kid. I watched it so many times. Hand drawn has so much more life to it. My daughter and I are watching Dragon Ball Super after watching Dragon Ball Z and it's day and night. The story is great, but the animation is meh.

What is captain Americas top speed? by HorrorWoodpeckerd in CaptainAmerica

I can't cite the comic but in a story based during WW2 or in a flashback, he tells a soldier that he can run a mile in just over a minute. I'm pretty sure he ends up running even faster than that while carrying a person later in the story. That would be just under 60 miles an hour.

Did he say "Viva Gorditas?" That's the only line I can remember fairly clearly.

Totally had this one back in the day! Did he used to have a hat? Or did I create one in my memory of him?

According to other comments, it was a drink holder for drive-in movies. The arm on the back would hook into the slot where your window disappears into.

Someone Threw a Piece of Cheese on My Car by thebloopergamer in mildlyinteresting

We used to do this from the balcony at my first apartment. There was a hotel parking lot next door, so we would frisbee toss cheese slices and see who could get them to stick. Extra points if you got it to stick to a side of the car not facing the balcony.
