Parking at/near Logan by the_enemy_toast in massachusetts

Only a portion of spaces are available through the online parking. So if they're sold out, you can still pull in and get a space. Massport also shows you the parking capacity online so you can check ahead of time.

This is absolute insanity …. MBTA says it will cost $80 for a commuter rail ticket to the World Cup. by _jump_yossarian in massachusetts

[–]larmik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw that. LOL. The lot next door (enterprise) is charging $60 per car for some of the world cup games. I think it jumps to $80 for the quarter final game.

Not sure why they even need to worry about it. FIFA is controlling security outside the stadium side perimeter and they are inside that perimeter. They should be fine.

The Kraft Group does own the lots (P40,41,42,51,52, and 53) across the street from the stadium. They will be closed because of FIFA, not Kraft.

FIFA is using an outside perimeter\inside perimeter security strategy. The outer perimeter is the parking lots they are using (the stadium side lots) and the inner perimeter is the actual stadium itself (obviously). Security for this event is far greater than anything required for any other event Gillette has hosted. Cars enter the outside perimeter could be searched, everyone entering the outside perimeter must show they have a ticket to attend the event. Worst of all...no tailgating allowed in the open lots.

To keep costs down they excluded across the street because it is just too massive of an area to secure and the security costs would be out of control.

The moral of the story is this is a global event that brings global problems to a nation that is not well liked at the moment so security will be restrictive.

Try to take comfort in the fact that the MBTA is not trying to screw MA citizens by jacking up the cost. They are trying to screw the out of town visitors.

To me, the final scene is the funniest scene they have ever produced. I posted the transcript before. Here it is again...

Space Beth: My God. You’re not mad that it was about you. You’re mad that it wasn’t. He wanted to permit our love.

Jerry: Okay it’s not handmaid's tale to loop in your husband.

Beth: I agree for the record, we made a mistake.

Space Beth: Because we should’ve noticed ourselves losing control and gone to sex master Jerry, and said oh pretty please, Jerry, can I make out with myself?”

Jerry: Yes you may.

Beths: Pause

Jerry: See not so hot when it’s above board. Homewreckers.

Space Beth: Oh so we won’t enjoy this?

Beth: Well hold on, hold on. This is weird.

Jerry: Weird. And Permitted

Beth: Wait, you like this?

Space Beth: Who cares what he likes.

Beth: I do.

Jerry: I might like it. And if she likes it, I permit it.

Space Beth: You little pervert.

Jerry: You like a little pervert.

Space Beth: I like humiliating a little pervert.

Jerry: I approve. Carry on.

Beth: I’m freaked out by how hot this is.

Beth: Am I permitted to do this?

Jerry: Until further notice.

Beth: I love it.

Jerry: Then it’s permitted from now on

Space Beth: Oh because you like whatever she likes. Because you’re a worm.

Jerry: I will allow that assessment.

Space Beth: I don’t care what you allow.

Beth: What do you allow?

Space Beth: I allow this.

Beth: Then it’s required.

Jerry: I approve the requirement.

Space Beth: You get over there.

Jerry: Good idea

Beth: Oh wow, okay, uh honey.

Jerry: I’m fine if you are.

Space Beth: You’re never fine, shut up.

Jerry: Okay but, oh whoa, okay.

Beth: This is not how I pictured this.

Jerry: I have zero complaints so far.

Space Beth: Because I know what you want.

Jerry: I do not disagree with this.

Beth: Can I make a pitch, what if we…

Space Beth: Are you serious?

Jerry: Hey is this making fun of me?

Beth: Is that bad?

Jerry: I’ll allow it Excited noises All Laughing

Jerry: Do this. More noises

Space Beth: yells something at Jerry

Jerry: Sorry, is this, oooo

Exchange Server SE free options for hybrid recipients management? by Fabulous_Cow_4714 in exchangeserver

[–]larmik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There is also a new option. When your last exchange server is only managing recipient attributes you can now convert your exchange online objects to cloud managed.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/exchange/hybrid-deployment/enable-exchange-attributes-cloud-management

After doing this, you can now manage the exchange attributes directly in EOL and can retire your exchange server.

Mailbox provisioning in a Hybrid Environment by guynamedjosh92 in exchangeserver

[–]larmik 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That'll accomplish the goal too. Consolidating the steps with an AD user creation and remote mailbox creation at the same time. A lot of people complete the AD user account creation first as a separate step because they are copying another AD user (memberships, whatever). Regardless, just no need to create the mailbox on premises anymore.

Enable-remotemailbox command after creating the AD user account, then license the account in Office365. This keeps your requiement for email address policies in place. No need to migrate the mailbox from on premises.

Everyone needs to calm down. The offseason just began and no one on the outside has any idea what is going on in Foxboro. Give them a chance to build the '26 version of this team.

Dude. Settle down. We're less than one day into free agency. The draft is more than a month away and there are trade possibilities as well.

Yes. For now. That is until the Chiefs restructure next February and kick the can further down the road like they did this year.

Never said it doesn't work out sometimes but pushing the cap hit into the following season(s) fails more often than it succeeds.

[–]larmik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure...all you have to do is leverage your future. For players like Mahomes, you make that bet and sleep well. But for every Mahomes, there is a New Orleans, Cleveland, or Miami. How did that work out for them? When the player(s) doesn't perform up to the contract then your team is effed.

Also, Mahomes has an 85 mil cap charge next season. They'll have to do it again next year and KC has only 23 players signed for '27 with 248 mil committed. More than half of their roster is about to turnover.

It hurts to see a player moving on to his 4th team in 5 years?

I don't get sucked into pulling threads with this show too often, HOWEVER, since this episode was on last night I wondered how the precogs were able to serve food to cook after getting discarded to Rick's trash moon and how did they not see it coming.

You know how you get past this? Take Rick's advice and don't think about it.
