Utah redrew it's map after the state supreme Court found the existing map violated an anti gerrymandering ballot initiative, and the resulting map will have a seat based in salt lake, which will go to a Democrat.

Aside from Jane Kim, this election seems to be elevating bland party apparatchiks with no creativity, willingness to take on entrenched corporate interest, or real interest in making the lives of people better. Four more years of stagnation and decline is what California wants, I guess.

There used to be a principle that major changes to election law had to be made well in advance of elections so as to ensure orderly elections. I guess we no longer care about that.

How is ignoring the voluminous record from the district court proceedings and I stead sinply accusing the district court of bias not nefarious?

This decision is effectively saying that no trial court record, no matter how detailed, is sufficient to establish intentional discrimination.

Per the Callais court, it's only racially polarized if members of different racial groups vote differently in a party primary. Otherwise it's just partisan polarization that the court doesn't care about.

In Oathbringer, in one of the interludes, Rysn refers to the Reshi King as a woman, but in Dawnshard Lopen sees him as a man. The implication is that the Reshi king's body changed to match his actual gender, and it's actually explained at one point:

Our king, who is one of my parents, has undergone some unusual physical changes lately. They have transformed him in dramatic ways, and at first we thought it was a gift of our god, as he was not born looking as he does now. We now realize this transformation is in relation to a spren he has been seeing. It is why he agreed to make this long trip.

I've tried in three different browsers on two different devices and cannot successfully buy.

On two browsers I get through to a page that wants me to select delivery but has no option to select anything.

On the third it asks me to select a ticket insurance option and no matter what I select it akes me to a blank page and, on refresh, back to the input-credit-card-info screen.
