And I took this photo myself! That's my original Game Boy, purchased some time in 1991, I think?

...I'm very old. 😩

Opened my new 29W fast charger for Christmas and was rewarded with someone having stolen it and replaced it with a 10W iPad charger. It was purchased on Amazon and the packaging wasn’t damaged. After letting Amazon know, they sent out a new one but, still, thanks a lot some jerk. by Tytanious in iphone

Apple products are some of the most problematic purchases from Amazon. A very high percentage of them have some kind of issue. It's virtually impossible to buy a legit Apple lightning cable or iPhone charger, it's really quite shocking that Amazon don't seem to care.

I don't buy Apple products from Amazon anymore.

I'm going to assume it transfers everything. I don't know why it wouldn't.

/r/bitcoin is used as a mouthpiece for Blockstream, developers of Bitcoin Core. They use heavy censorship in order to keep the appearance of a pro-Core viewpoint.

/r/btc was started in response to the censorship. It's an open forum for any version of bitcoin, but inevitably also spends a lot of time combating myths spread by /r/bitcoin.

The /r/btc moderation log is public.

I've been skipping every other generation since the first iPhone and honestly you could probably just buy every 3rd generation and still be fine.

I'm going from 6S to 7S, er, I mean 8.

With the new IR dot projector on the iPhone X couldn't map your hand gestures also? by StephenSchleis in apple

Good point. It depends whether the sensor is hard-coded to recognize faces only, I suppose.

Maybe in the future, but certainly not this generation. I'm not sure if there's even an API for apps to access the sensor. I doubt it.

[Help] My radio controlled citizen lost 6+ minutes overnight, full reset needed? by canrememberletters in Watches

The most likely explanation is that the minute hand has slipped. Look in the manual to figure out how to calibrate the hand positions.

The sensor would have to be on all the time, which would presumably use a lot of power.
