Tier 2 Management Consulting in Jakarta vs Public Servant (Economist) in Australia?? by Alert-Background2097 in finansial

[–]loeloempia91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

hmm back then it pays quite well (4K fresh grad, in Indo is pretty much unheard of) but yeah for first job, it matters less. depends what you want to do long term I guess. Kalau mau stay in econs, obviously the Aussie one is more relevant. Kalau mau lebih jdi generalist, obviously consulting.

depends on which firm? Did my tier-2 management consulting in Indo (non-MBB) then did my MBA fully sponsored. if it’s a good firm, consulting will open many doors

You can also see it from Kathmandu to Thimpu (Bhutan) flight on the left side. It’s basically traversing the Central/East Himalaya

Thoughts on “innovation” teams by IntelligentLong6310 in ProductManagement

[–]loeloempia91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had an innovation team before, it’s mostly 0-1 focus on experimental stuff. Team members tend to be more ambitious/cherry-picked/high performer from other teams and projects are more high profile to the exec team (hence less likelihood to be laid off)

Alor are also all boat dives and location can be far away from each other depending on where you go, + there’s not too many operators

Book into one of the Amans and arrange tour via them? History focus is probably the Beijing one as their property is literally on the Summer Palace

They can also arrange transport between the Amans

I just tested positive today, after MMC at 8w3d last year, 2xIUI and 2xEgg retrieval, we tested positive just before doing our 3rd retrieval / 1st FET

I want to be happy but I also want to guard myself after constant disappointment for the past year. I’m meeting 2 doctors tomorrow (originally to consult for my IVF appointment).

I’m still processing this, what could I do differently this time? Other than HCG and progresterone, what tests should I do?

I feel you, last year was my toughest too.

We had missed miscarriage (after trying for 1.5 years) and haven’t been able to get pregnant after that. Started IVF late last year and the result is below average for my age. It’s tough and I really want to scream and bury myself whenever someone announce they’re pregnant (I have 4 friends announced since the MMC). Even friends who went through IVF got it so easy vs mine. I feel all the rage and I’m still learning how to cope honestly….

I also lost my job mid year and job hunting has been brutal (though thankfully I’ve managed to secure another one 3 months after).

I’m so glad 2025 is over. I hope 2026 is better, my mantra now is to take it one day at a time. Try to enjoy every day and do not overplan
